Pro Painting & Construction Reviews (%countItem)
Hired Pro Painting to put siding on my home & he did a horrible job. Siding is falling off, corners aren’t cut right, has patches everywhere. It’s a hot mess. Have tons of pictures to prove.
called us to side her house at *** at the agreed price of $8,100. She had trouble coming up with the initial deposit because of a “bank loan.” We still agreed to move forward without all of the deposit and provided to materials to the job site. When we started the project she then came up with the rest of the deposit. Customer was on premises during the project and was pleased and happy with the work. When work was completed *** did not come she sent her brother to look at the work and there were a few concerns on how we did things we offered to remedy the situation they did not want us to remedy the situation they said that they were going to have another contractor look at it and they refuse to pay because he knew all the Erie County sheriffs and he didn’t have to pay any money And at that point he admitted that he was paying for the project not a bank loan. We have pictures from the day of the project started throughout the project and we also have pictures of the project after this complaint was made there’s no siding falling off the house everything is done correct this customer is trying to get out of paying money because she does not have the funds available
Revdex.com:Attached pictures of the job done. Siding already fell off the house. The whole house needs redone.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Deceptive practicesI paid for 2 coats of paint and pro painting and construction only put 1 coat but yet I paid for 2. They figured I wouldn't know the difference. He would have been right but I happened to check the amount of paint that was left. He they refused to make it right. Now I'm out the money I paid them by thing they did 2 coats. So I would definitely be very cautious of hiring this company.
The owner of Pro Painting & Construction quoted roof repairs to close an old chimney opening and fix some leaks on my mother's house. Other roofers had quoted replacing the roof, but he stated the roof was fine and could be repaired, and the others were "selling a dream". Work was completed on 2/6/2019 but it continued leaking during rain the following week and the company owner claims the leaks have nothing to do with his work. Upon inspecting it myself, I found he did not close the chimney hole to the interior of the home (that was previously covered), but installed a roof vent instead which is now allowing heat to escape and rain to enter causing more loss and damage. Also, the patching is abysmal, and he charged $1300 for improperly performed work with no more than $500 in materials and labor. When asked to complete the work and close the hole in the roof, he stated he would need more money, and also now claims the "roof is junk period" and has refused to complete and stand by the work he quoted and was paid to do, even after causing more problems. He lists PA license# 132731.
