*** *** *** *** Just to clarify matters, a truck from Pro Plus roofing appeared two weeks ago today I was sound asleep until the rain started I do not know if the driver knocked on my door I do not what, if anything, was done The next time it rained, June 12, it rained and the same leak was there I notified the company Regarding the assertion by Tana that I demeaned her, that is untrue I was not terribly pleasant in demanding to know why the company did not appear on the 29th nor 31st of May, as she promised I was upset because I have experienced a history of lame excuses and apologies, and was not in the mood to hear any more.I have e-mailed the owner twice this week about the issue, but have yet to get a response. All I want is for my roof to be fixed in a timely manner and prompt replies to my inquiries Sincerely,*** ** ***

We have explained to the *** that their siding match differs greatly from the siding on their home due to weather fade and the charge for that item and their J-Channel has been removed from their bill. The balance they owe on their account is ONLY for the items we have
completed. We have not billed for the siding and J-Channel, but we are asking for full payment for their account as all other items have been finished and have been finished for quite some time and instead of paying for what has been done to their house they keep going back to this small siding patch as a reason not to pay their bill. The siding has a significant weather fade and the siding match that came back will look tremendously different and with as difficult as it has been to get payment from this customer already we are not willing to put more time and resources into replacing siding that isn't going to look right and will cause more complaints from the customer. We have sent the customer letters and have even noted the problem on the customers invoice, which has been sent out with every statement to them twice a month since May when we received the Itel report. I finally sent a collection letter because for months I have been sending statements and invoices but have had no response from the ***, until now, through the Revdex.com. We have not charged any finance fees for retaining the balance on this account but we are requesting full payment. Once we have been paid for the work we have completed for the *** we would be happy to meet with their insurance adjuster at an onsite meeting with the siding samples to show them the weather fade and discuss the possible remediation. Initially the insurance adjusted only for a small spot repair on the siding, however with the fade as it is against the colour of the new siding it would look quite different and very noticeable. In this type of case we would like to meet with the adjuster and show the differences in siding as it should be the insurances responsibility to replace the entire wall of siding to take care of the colour difference. Again, the balance their account is for completed items only and we are asking that be paid promptly to avoid finance charges or collections. After that we are happy to discuss further options about the siding with the insurance and customerIf you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us

*** *** My roof still leaks, so the dispute with ProPlus Roofing is not concluded Please keep it open.Since Tana would not take my calls, I contacted the company by its website over one week ago, but have, not surprisingly, had no response This is apparently SOP for the company For her to think that her saying one time that she was sorry without offering me any reason why there were two no-shows, Friand Sun., is unacceptable, given the past history of identical events Sincerely,*** ***

To Whom I May Concern;I spoke with *** *** today, Thursday, March 19th, and we have discussed the plans to remediate the damage to her drywall. There was a miscommunication that held us up from already having taken care of this for the ***'s, for which we apologize, and greatly appreciate the opportunity to continue to work with the client to address their concerns. We have a plan of attack to scrape and/or remove the sheetrock for the ***'s next week and to bring in the sheetrock repair/ replacement *** in the week after to make the necessary repairs and finishes. I was unaware that this case had been closed, but we have not completed the agreed upon work. We are working to take care of that so we can move forward to close the case, however please keep this file open for the ***'s until they are satisfied with our repairs to their home. As always, please feel free to contact me via phone directly at *** *** *** ***Thank you,*** ***

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: While they are allowing us to do interest free payments which we will continue to pay until it is paid off, there was not sufficient communication from themWe did not hear back from them or know that they came out to look at the houseThere was no letter or call from them explaining all of what they explained in this responseThe amount of money charged for this job they did was more than the insurance paid, but they may be correct that we did not file the insurance claim correctly We still believe that they did not do a good enough job putting the siding up when they did When the manufacturer put on the siding when they brought the house to the property, the siding never warped and they didn't fall off soon after We have had bad wind every once in awhile for most of the time we have been living hereThis is Wyoming If they refuse to give $off our bill, then we will just pay it out of pocket from another company that we were referred to and will not do business with ProPlus again.

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
Regards,
*** *** The fact of the matter Pro Plus Roofing is trying to walk away from a job without completing work They have done OK work at best and the job is not complete They say a small siding patch repair, but fail to mention all the Jtrim that still needs to be replaced, the windows in the back yard that have not had Jtrim replaced or wrapped in metal like the front windows.Once again for at least the fifteenth time, we have explained the situation on payment It was a known fact how Pro Plus Roofing was going to get paid from the start They were told about *** *** Bank with holding the initial check, Pro Plus Roofing has known from the start what would be required to receive the second check from *** *** I was told that it was "no problem, they deal with this all the time" Now that they are choosing not to finish the job and choosing to leave a hole in our siding and holes in our JtrimNow they expect a different form of payment then what was originally discussed and agreed to Let me repeat word for word from the man's mouth "no problem, we deal with this all the time" He sat there leaning up against his fancy, jacked up truck telling me how he works with banks and insurance companies all the time. Now Pro Plus Roofing does not want to finish the job that they bid, and told us that there would be no problem fixing our home. They want to be paid for the work they have done and walk away from a job that is not completed That is real nice way to do business Leaving our home with missing siding and Jtrim with holes in it for another winter We have had a whole year of weather getting inside our siding, inside our Jtrim around the windows We have had an eye sore for over a year because they have failed to replace the Jtrim over our front door.We want them to finish their work and do things right They have had over a year to complete this job It is ridiculous that any business would function this way.I am all for Pro Plus Roofing to get paid It is not my money they are waiting on it is *** *** Insurance money they are waiting on If Pro Plus Roofing feel that this is not a shady business practice and leaving a customers work unfinished, then I suggest they should contact *** *** Insurance and see if *** *** would like to pay them for work they chose to do even though they are leaving the house that they insure not fixed.I hope that they can get paid from *** *** for the work they did That way I can hire a true Roofing and siding company to complete the work that still needs to be done and hopefully before more weather gets in behind the siding and causes mold because it has no way to dry out I am also going to file a complaint with the Town of *** against Pro Plus Roofing as *** has had a lot of trouble with Roofing and Siding companies coming into town and bidding jobs, never completing them and trying to receive payment. Also there was never any conversations, not a single conversation about our siding being weathered It was never a conversation or a problem when the man came and gave us an estimate, it was never a problem when he accepted the job, and it was never a problem the whole time his crews came down to my house numerous times, it was never a problem for over a year Now it is a problem because they want to get the second check. The only conversation I have ever had with Tana and her husband/boyfriend about the siding took place at my place of employment In my class room at *** *** *** *** They came to get the forms in order to receive their first check They did say they were having trouble finding the right match and that they didn't want to put on siding that didn't matchI was told he had samples I could take to *** with me, but then he remembered they were at his other job If I wanted to swing by his other job I could pick the up or he was going to just send them down with a worker when they came to *** to finish another job The worker nor the samples have never made it down to *** Pro Plus Roofing has had over a year to find a solution for this problem Trying to bill me for the things they chose to fix and walk away from the things they were supposed to fix and chose not to fix is not the correct solution to this problem. If they could not do the work they have had over a year to let us know The first time we have heard of this weather fade and that they were going to have to reside the whole house was on this last invoice. It really seems to me that Pro Plus Roofing is just trying to find a way to rip off the *** *** Insurance company Wants to reside a whole house to replace foot of siding, and Jtrim in multiple places This whole situation has been real hard to wrap my mind around The many times getting billed for work that wasn't done, work that had to be redone, work that was never going to get done. And the cherry on top is now, pay us and we will not finish your house Good Luck.I have contacted *** *** Bank asking them for help in this matter as they are the ones who own the mortgage, I have also contacted *** *** asking them for help as they are the company insuring the home, I have contacted the Revdex.com, I will be visiting with the Town of *** tomorrow. The next step will be settling this in court if this can not be worked out through any other avenue

We apologize that this issue has gone on for so long  We did contact our drywall subcontractor in Janurary and asked him to contact Mr. [redacted] directly to arrange to fix the ceiling sheetrock.  We were under the impression it was in the works, and have been out of the office for a few...

weeks in Feb. for medical issues, and have been a little out of the loop on where this is at, however we will contact our sheetrock repair [redacted] at once and see when he can make arrangements with the [redacted] to take a look at the sheetrock and see what needs done and schedule  when he can do it.  As per my previous conversation with Mr. [redacted] in Janurary; I am just wanting to again address the issue that we are repair/ replacing the sheetrock only.  Our subcontractor does not do any priming or painting and as per my conversation Mr. [redacted], he understood and acknowledged that he would take care of the painting himself as long as we saw to it that the sheetrock was repaired/ replaced.  I will email when I have heard from our sheetrock [redacted]s.Thank you,[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Nate and his crew were here on Thursday and worked diligently to attempt to repair my roof.

Thank you for your assistance.

We understand the [redacted]’s frustration with the situation regarding their siding.  When we met with Mr. [redacted] we discussed the issue of the siding with him but he may not have understood as we discussed a lot of stuff that day.  The siding Mr. [redacted] has is a foam backed siding and to properly correct his spot repair should require removal of the majority of the wall and reinstallation as the siding has an interlocking system.  The adjuster did not take into account that the siding was a foam backed siding and did not adjust for these types of measures in his initial adjustment for the repairs/replacement on the [redacted]’s home.  Additionally, the siding is older and more brittle than new siding and may become damaged in spot repair process, that is why we discussed, and Mr. [redacted] agreed, that we would deal with it in the summer (as when we had met it was during wintertime).  When the foam backed siding samples came in there was a considerable color difference and Nate contacted Mr. [redacted] to meet us and show him, but due to busy schedules it sounds like there were never able to get together. Nate put notes directly on the customers invoice regarding the color difference and removed the costs of the siding and jchannel repair and numerous copies were sent to them in the mail, along with two letters explaining the color difference and issue, however we did not hear back from the [redacted]’s until we requested full payment for the work that had been completed. The siding has 50% or more weather fade, as discussed last time we talked we could set up an appointment to meet and I can show how dark the original gray is, but it would be Mr. [redacted]’s call from there what color to order as to would probably be a closer match to go with white than the original dark grey, but that is not a call we are comfortable with making.  Option A:  Schedule a time to meet and go over siding colors for homeowner to pick a color where Pro Plus is not responsible for the difference in color.  Also patching the siding comes with the understanding that patching into foam backed siding can cause accidental damage to existing old and brittle siding and Pro Plus is not liable for possible damage to older pieces.  This option would include the agreement to pay in full the current balance, $2108. 24 plus the quoted repairs of $320 for the J-Channel, $110 for the siding patch and $200 for the siding as it must be purchased in atleast a full square and we cannot get just a few pieces. Option B:  As discussed the last time we talked- we can get with your adjuster and discuss the fade issue.  This option will likely require a sample piece to be collected and sent to sidingmatch.com or Itel at the adjusters preference to determine the actual percentage of weather fade.  Once we have verified percentage of weather fade by a third party we can discuss with the adjuster complete replacement so you don’t end up with two different colors of siding on your house.  This option also has the understanding that the balance of the account is to be paid, and any further costs (ie sample match report, usually $80-100, and possible full siding replacement) are in addition to the current balance of $2108.24. We have attempted to contact the adjuster on this claim to discuss the siding discrepancy and resolution possibilities.  If further information comes available we will be in contact right away. Sincerely,Tana S[redacted]

Dear Mr. [redacted],
I believe this is just a missed connections issue between us.  We are more than willing to come out and seal and/ or repair anything on your roof that might be causing this leak.  If it is a roofing issue we are willing to make sure the ceiling is repaired or repainted....

We have simply missed each other via phone and person the past couple of weeks.  Your messages to me convert to a texted email, and the [redacted] phone number I have for you has a voicemail box that is not set up yet, additionally the number I have on file is the [redacted], which seems to be disconnected.  [redacted] tried to meet up with you last week, but could not reach you either, however he is tentatively scheduled to be in [redacted] on Wednesday and I would be glad to schedule a meeting with him to take a look at that interior.  Additionally I have told him that the sealing they did before the snow did not take and that they need to go back over and check it out.  Please let me know if that works for you so we can get this issue resolved.
Thank you,
[redacted]

Company promises to return to investigate why my roof is leaking again after they replaced it last year. I was told twice, the most recently last week, that a representative would come to my house. No one appeared nor called. I had this same non-responsiveness issue last year with this company. When I called this morning to ask why no one showed up as promised, I asked for a reason and was not given one, just the usual delay b.s. Tana, the wife of the owner, hung up and would not answer when I called back.I want my roof fixed so that there is no more leaking!

I contacted Mr. [redacted] via email to request his current cell phone number on Wednesday, June 25th 2015 at 5:07 pm.  I contacted him on the email he has been emailing me from, directly to my work email.  Although I have not gotten a response from him with his phone number, either through the email complaints to the Revdex.com or his direct email, I was able to obtain his current cell phone number directly from the Revdex.com representative.  Tentatively Nate is scheduled to be in [redacted] on Thursday July 2nd.  I am putting Mr. [redacted] on his schedule.  Nate will contact Mr. [redacted] via phone wheh he can swing by and take a look at what is going on.  I will email this information directly to Mr. [redacted] also, and if should anything change I will send further email to update.

[redacted] This is in response to the message I received this morning showing that this dispute has been resolved.  It has not.  We have yet to hear from [redacted] ([redacted]) to resolve this.  We would like to show it as an open case until such time as they contact us to repair the problem.  Thanks and if you have any furthur questions, please contact me [redacted]   [redacted]

A representative from our company did go and look at the siding issue that they contacted us about, but it isn't due to poor workmanship or poor quality of materials.  The siding that our company replaced on the [redacted] home was directly matched to the siding the manufacturer installed on the...

house originally.  And inferiority in product has to do with the level of quality that the home was originally manufactured with, and not with our company's choice of materials.  When we deal with an insurance claim on a customers home we are required by the insurance to match the customers existing materials and replace them as directed by the Itel 3rd party specifications.  This is part of the reason why it can take a bit of time after a customer has contracted us to do siding repair or replacement to get the project done.  The problem the [redacted] are having with their siding is wind related due to the fact that the area in which they live saw wind gusts of up to 47 mph on July 27th, 2015.  We were contacted by them a few days later and our representative went to inspect the damage on 8/6/2015.  I have sent them a packet in the mail concerning this issue because we still have a large outstanding balance on their account ( please see the attached document of their invoice for work and balance) from the previous work we have done and I am concerned that they did not file their insurance claim properly and that is why we were not paid in full for the work that we completed.  Since their insurance is giving them trouble I am quite certain that they did not follow the procedure steps properly and the insurance is under the impression that the work never was completed and that is why they are dropping them from the insurance.  The additional wind damage should be another claim on their insurance, but if they did not follow the proper steps to get their claim from 2013/2014 closed out then the insurance will likely not pay out additional claims.  I am happy to help the [redacted] through the process and have explained the information I will need to help them get this matter resolved, but I will detail it in this email as well.  We will need Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] insurance information, insurance company, local representative and adjuster information if possible, but the insurance company and policy number or claim number will suffice if we can not get the adjuster's information.  From there I can contact them and let them know the work was completed and they will issue funds to pay for the project.  Once the project is paid for we will honor our workmanship warranty, but I must again explain that the issues that they are having with their siding are due to weather damage and not due to poor workmanship or quality.  We deny to allowing a credit on the customers account to have another contractor work on their siding, if they choose to have the additional work done we understand, however it does not negate or take from the work our company already did to repair their home, work that we still have not been paid for and have been very understand in allowing the customer to make interest free payments.
