The customer paid me a draw of for materials and to pay my employee to show up and do the jobThe reason I take draws is so I can ensure the customer is serious about getting the work done and isn't wasted no my money or time for getting materials and putting them in my scheduleWhat would be the purpose of getting a draw in the first place then? I would be willing to do the job for him but now I feel like he is out to get me and can't really trust that he would try to scam me again

On 3/17/I went to [redacted] s house were he agreed to and signed for me to prep and paint his cast iron gate and fencesI told [redacted] I could get them done as soon as possible and would fit him in between jobs as the job would only take around to hours to completeI actually had my guy there within a few days which in this town would be impossible to find someone to do within that time frameMy foremen showed up to the job to begin prepping the Fencing and he immediately sent him home saying he didn't know what he was doingDidn't even let him touch the jobMy foremen has been painting for over years and is qualified to do the job with ease He had all materials needed to do the job professionally and in the complaint letter [redacted] lied and said he didn't I already took my time and money to get all materials needed for the jobI explained to [redacted] that the money he gave me was for materials and for the time I put in going to his house different times and having my foremen drive thereI'm very upset that he wasted my time and backed out of the job for No reason at allI really was looking forward to get this job done for him and it's unfortunate he had to be this wayThis is the reason why I take draws because you never know when a customer will try to take advantage of youThis is my first complaint so far but will hope [redacted] doesn't try to pull this for the next guy trying to make a living for him and his familyTruly sad

It disturbs me greatly to be a victim of a scamming contractor. Please, all I want is the return of my money and we can close this case. It's my money, not his.

My foremen showed up to the job to begin prepping the Fencing and he immediately sent him home saying he didn't know what he was doing. Didn't even let him touch the job. My foremen has been painting for over 10 years and is qualified to do the job with ease . He had all materials needed to do the job professionally and in the complaint letter [redacted] lied and said he didn't.  I already took my time and money  to get all materials needed for the job. I explained to [redacted] that the money he gave me was for materials and for the time I put in going to his house 3 different times and having my foremen drive there. I'm very upset that he wasted my time and backed out of the job for No reason at all. I really was looking forward to get this job done for him and it's unfortunate he had to be this way. The reason I take draws is so I can ensure the customer is serious about getting the work done and isn't wasted no my money or time for getting materials and putting them in my schedule. What would be the purpose of getting a draw in the first place then? I would be willing to do the job for him but now I feel like he is out to get me and can't really trust that he would try to scam me again.
