Subject: Fwd: You have a New Message from Revdex.com of Hawaii Regarding Complaint # [redacted] I did hear back from John Maute, the electrical engineer on the Big Island Turns out that Ryan T [redacted] did other jobs using Silevo panels shortly after my job was initially scheduled One job was for Silevo panels and the other for Silevo panels He could have used the panels from my solar kit on either of those jobs. These is some confusion caused on panel size My panels were ordered as 295W and Ryan's initial permit specified 295W but 300W panels were actually shipped by the distributor in California295W and 300W Silevo panels are indistinguishable unless one looks on their underside at their label Those other jobs probably had some or all of the panels that were actually 300W rather than 295W but the contractor didn't bother having the permits redone because of such a minor change At least that is what my installer Ron McHale said that he would do with such a minor change Inspectors never look that closely[redacted]

[redacted] delayed approval of extension from 04/to 02/but I was finally given an extension Up until that time, I understood that Ryan would proceed with installation Only in Jan 2016, did I learn that he didn't want to honor our contract and refused to issue a refund He didn't think [redacted] would issue an extension but he was wrong When we learned that [redacted] did issue extension, he said that he would not honor the contract

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:Ryan T*** likes to exaggerate the truth I never told him that I had approval by my HOA, he only assumed that My HOA was very difficult to deal with and repeatedly violated HRS 167-then dared me to sue them That is what took so long for me to get final approval When he said that I was harassing him, that is his interpretation of my emailing and texting him asking when he could install the system I had to do so repeatedly because he almost never answered my attempts to contact him There was no expiration date for the installation on the contract although he acted like there was one He also took of the panels that I paid for and told me at the time that he would replace them He never would give me an inventory of what he left in my garage so I had to pay someone to go there and inventory it When I finally found someone else to install the partial remaining kit (supplemented by additional components) that he left in my garage, he claimed that he didn't know anything about the missing panels He also continued to be very difficult to contact so I didn't know whether I should use the panels and inverter that he purchased with my new installer or not.Bot*** line is that he is very irresponsible and untrustworthy I tried to be a nice guy and paid him in advance enough to cover the components then he left a partial kit in my garage and became impossible to contact The fact that he took a year to respond to this complaint is another example of his irresponsible behavior.Sincerely,*** ***

Here is a short summary I contracted with *** *** to do his Solar installation He was approved by Helco on April 2014, on May 28, I went to Mauna Lani to do the installation, *** *** never obtained approval, but told me he did, the Head of HOA told me and David my worker to leave, or he would have us Arrested as you will read in the emails,so we left all materials in his garage, and I decided to cut my losses, with *** ***, as he contiuned to harras me untill December he requested a copy of permit, I sent him a copy, after that he did not contact me untill February demanding I install his system over year later in the check he gave me I paid for electrical drawings structual drawings and building permit and electrical permit, plus all materials,

[redacted] delayed approval of extension from 04/15 to 02/16 but I was finally given an extension.  Up until that time, I understood that Ryan would proceed with installation.  Only in Jan 2016, did I learn that he didn't want to honor our contract and refused to issue a refund.  He didn't...

think [redacted] would issue an extension but he was wrong.  When we learned that [redacted] did issue extension, he said that he would not honor the contract.

Subject: Fwd: You have a New Message from Revdex.com of Hawaii Regarding Complaint #[redacted]I did hear back from John Maute, the electrical engineer on the Big Island.  Turns out that Ryan T[redacted] did 2 other jobs using Silevo panels shortly after my job was initially scheduled.  One job was for 10 Silevo panels and the other for 12 Silevo panels.  He could have used the 7 panels from my solar kit on either of those jobs. These is some confusion caused on panel size.  My panels were ordered as 295W and Ryan's initial permit specified 295W but 300W panels were actually shipped by the distributor in California. 295W and 300W Silevo panels are indistinguishable unless one looks on their underside at their label.  Those other 2 jobs probably had some or all of the panels that were actually 300W rather than 295W but the contractor didn't bother having the permits redone because of such a minor change.  At least that is what my installer Ron McHale said that he would do with such a minor change.  Inspectors never look that closely.[redacted]
