Review: I purchased tile for my showers in my new home from Pro-Source. Our salesmen, Craig S[redacted], calculated the amount of tile needed to complete my shower installation. Craig spoke with/collaborated with the tile installer that we were potentially going to hire. We did not end up using this installer, nor did Craig ask for shower dimensions so that the amount of tile could be correctly configured. The amount of tile ordered was excessive. When I tried to return the extra tile they informed me of their no return policy. The policy is not displayed anywhere in the store. I was not told about a return when the tile was purchased. The no return policy is stated on their invoice. Unfortunately, a lot of the tile transactions were done via email. Therefore, I was not present to see an invoice. The invoices were sent to me after the fact, they had my credit card number on file from previous purchases. In there store I was handed the credit card slip to sign. I was given the credit card slip before I was given the invoice with the no return statement on it. I had no reason to believe they would not return the extra tile because during the process there was some other products that were ordered and not used. They issued me a full credit for those items. After confronting them about them about the tile return they offered me a credit for only one box of tile. I never received a credit for one box of tile. After spending over $25,000.00 with Pro-Source I find their actions appalling! I also believe that this is a business practice that they repeatedly do to their customers to maximize their profits.I should not have to absorb a error on their part. I returned the tile to the store. They are in possession of the merchandise. Therefore, I am entitled to a refund. Their business practices are questionable. I expect a full refund for the extra tile in the amount of $306.00. In summary, Craig S[redacted] calculated the amount of tile needed and is responsible for over-ordering. It seems as though he works on commission.Desired Settlement: A refund of $306.00

Review: I contacted Pro-Source about carpet for my upstairs. I found a carpet that I liked and called to get the price on the said carpet. I was given a price, which was comparable to other stores that I shopped at and was within my budget. I decided to order the carpet. When the carpet finally came in I received a voicemail from the gentleman who sold me the carpet saying that he made a small mistake and didn't order some of the carpet that I needed. This "small mistake" cost me $428.28 which I never even approved. Yes, my credit card was charged the additional $428.28 with no approval. I even tried contacting the salesman back multiple times with no returned phone call before the additional carpet even came in. I also tried contacting a manager but was told that they were in a meeting. When I asked for a better time to call back I was told they were not sure because they are always in meetings.Desired Settlement: I would like the $428.28 to be fully refunded back to me. I never would have ordered the carpet if I would have known the total cost of the carpet. I would have ordered my carpet from a different store if I would have known the actual cost of the carpet. I gave the salesman all of the measurements from the gentleman laying the carpet and the mistake was made on the salesman's part.

Response:

I want to make sure everything is clear on the matter. I was refunded the money back for the carpet. The issue is that my money was not refunded until I contacted my credit card company and had to spend my time explaining the situation on how my credit card was used without authorization. I was initially told by the salesman that I would be contacted within a few days after my Revdex.com report was received by Prosource but I was never was contacted by anyone. A few days after I disputed the charge the gentleman who laid the carpet got a phone call from Prosource saying that he owed them the $428. Please let this information be known.
