Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Mr [redacted] is not stating the truth and I don't find him trust worthy based on what he has stated in his letter and per our phone conversations He keeps changing his story trying to cover up what he says previouslyI did not ask for "thousands of dollars" back and I am not "profiting" from the Insurance companyI only wanted the amount stated on the original complaint ( the amount shown on the original complaint is not correctI forgot to add the cost of the removal and replacement of downspouts) for work that was not doneIt was Mr [redacted] intention to only replace only the pieces of siding that is what the salesman wrote on the contract the insurance company paid for it all to be replaced on the west sideThat should be stated on the contract unless it was alteredHe also told me that is why it was hard for him to get someone to do the siding job because the pieces were so spread outThat doesn't sound like someone who was planning on doing the job correctly, replacing all of the siding on the west side of my home Mr [redacted] called me after He found out that I filed the complaint but prior to that he did not return my calls for three weeksI just want to get my home finished by someone I can trust Is there anything wrong with that? I should have recorded my phone conversations with Mr [redacted] so you would truly understand why I filed this complaint I have paid for repairs ( Siding and fascia, replacing metal trim around storage building, flashing for chimney, replacing turtle vent, removing and re installing sky light, window screens, replacing down spouts) that Mr [redacted] company did not do and would not have done if I would not have filed this complaintIf my roof job is complete ( except for the siding and fascia)? Why were these items left undone when he replaced the my shingles? He will state that I told him not do itI stated that I should not be paying for work not done and Items not removed and replacedI just want to move onMr [redacted] has been real cordial since I filed the complaint but after I read his response to my complaint I would rather find some else to do the work Someone I can trustI have attached an itemized statement of the totals ($1,639.72) that I believe I am due from Mr***'s company Sincerely, [redacted]

The work was NOT completed and the pairs of outdoor wooden shutters and the storm windows were NOT replaced by the July 27, deadline I can't see that $will get me where I need to be on my house repairsIf Pro Star had acted in a professional manner, when the job was finished, they would have had the other $for a total of $6,for the windows and shuttersEvidently they didn't think that was enough so they didn't do anything and just kept my $3293.38!! They did not want to complete the shutters/storm window job for $6,and now they expect me to do it for $4793.38? Plus, I will have to do all the above-mentioned jobs they didn't complete!(fix storeroom ceiling, replace window panes, hire someone to remove paint on my windows, trim and bricks) The suggested $is not acceptable

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2015/09/24) */
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 10, 2015/09/24) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I did confirm that Pro Star fixed the Storeroom roof leak - on the third attempt. My complaint with that...

roof job is there is DAMAGE to three panels of sheetrock INSIDE the Storeroom and these panels were NOT REPLACED. Pro Star fails to accept this.
I did not deliberately withhold insurance payments. I sent checks to Pro Star when they arrived from the insurance company. Some work was done but paint clean-up was not done, broken window panes not replaced and storeroom ceiling repair was not done - all of which Pro Star had already received funds to complete. According to Pro Star the last insurance check was to pay for the shutters and storm windows.

In Pro Star's Contract under ADDITIONAL TERMS OF AGREEMENT, # 5, it states; "The final payment is due immediately upon work completion and shall not be held up while waiting for the city/county/state to inspect the work."
The work was NOT completed and the 4 pairs of outdoor wooden shutters and the 12 storm windows were NOT replaced by the July 27, 2014 deadline.
I can't see that $1500 will get me where I need to be on my house repairs. If Pro Star had acted in a professional manner, when the job was finished, they would have had the other $3293.38 for a total of $6,586.76 for the windows and shutters. Evidently they didn't think that was enough so they didn't do anything and just kept my $3293.38!! They did not want to complete the shutters/storm window job for $6,586.76 and now they expect me to do it for $4793.38? Plus, I will have to do all the above-mentioned jobs they didn't complete!(fix storeroom ceiling, replace window panes, hire someone to remove paint on my windows, trim and bricks)
The suggested $1500 is not acceptable.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Mr. [redacted] is not stating the truth and I don't find him trust worthy based on what he has  stated in his letter and per our phone conversations.  He keeps changing his story trying to cover up what he says...

previously. I did not ask for "thousands of dollars" back and I am not "profiting" from the Insurance company. I only wanted the amount stated on the original complaint ( the amount shown on the original complaint is not correct. I forgot to add the cost of the removal and replacement of downspouts) for work that was not done. It was Mr. [redacted] intention to only replace only  the 5 pieces of siding that is what the salesman wrote on the contract the insurance company paid for it all to be replaced on the west side. That should be stated on the contract unless it was altered. He also told me that is why it was  hard for him to get someone to do the siding job because the 5 pieces were so spread out. That doesn't sound like someone who was planning on doing the job correctly, replacing all of the siding on the west side of my home.   Mr. [redacted] called me after He found out that I filed the complaint but  prior to that he did not  return my calls for three weeks. I  just want to get my home finished by someone I can trust.  Is there anything wrong with that?   I should have recorded  my phone conversations with Mr. [redacted] so you would truly understand why I filed this complaint.  I have paid for repairs  ( Siding and fascia, replacing metal trim around storage building, flashing for chimney, replacing turtle vent, removing and re installing sky light, window screens, replacing down spouts)  that Mr. [redacted] company did not do and would not have done if I would not have filed this complaint. If my roof job is complete ( except for the siding and fascia)? Why were these items left undone when he replaced the my shingles?  He will state that I told him not do it. I stated that I should not be paying for work not done and Items not removed and replaced. I just want to move on. Mr. [redacted] has been real cordial since I filed the complaint but after I read his response to my complaint I would rather find some else to do the work.  Someone I can trust. I have attached an itemized statement of the totals ($1,639.72) that I believe I am due from Mr. [redacted]'s company.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
