Pro Steam L L C Reviews (1)
We were required to get our carpet steam cleaned before vacating at the end of May. My wife had set up an appointment for 9 am May 29th and was to meet Pro Steam at the location at 2906 Joseph Ave and be present for the cleaning. Nobody showed up and half an hour later she left to go find a phone because she does not have a cell phone and our new location is on the other side of town. When she got back to the house she called a different company because she figured that Pro Steam was not going to show. So later that day I went back to the apartment and met a different company who cleaned the place and commented that it looked like we had tried to clean it beforehand but didn't get it very clean. That company was able to make a noticeable difference while I was watching. Then two days later, on Thursday May 30th I met with my landlord for a final walkthrough and he said that he had received a bill from Pro Steam for a $90 carpet clean. I called my wife and she said that she had left the door unlocked (because apartment was empty) when she left Tuesday morning, so she called Pro Steam and was told that they had shown up later and cleaned the apartment even though we weren't there. We had wanted to be there when they cleaned and would not have told them to go ahead and clean without us there, which is what they did. Also, based on what the other cleaning company told me and what I saw him clean, the floors were still dirty, so even if Pro Steam did go in and clean they did not do a very thorough job, which is why we wanted to be present so we could see what we were paying for. My wife was told by Pro Steam that they were just going to send the bill to a collection agency.
