Review: On February 22, 2014 I took my 1997 GMC pickup for repairs, that included to remove and replace lower intake gasket and oil change. The following day I noticed that the oil gage wasn't working properly, I thought ok it will adjust. I drove it for a few more days and parked it on the tenth day the gage was reading no oil pressure. I drove to pro touch auto repair and spoke to the mechanic that worked on the truck. He looked it over and said you engines knocking and your motor is no good. I said no way I service my truck every 3 months and never had problems no matter how many miles it has. I asked to speak with the owner and he rudely said "well look at it this way, when you die, you die", I could not believe that came out of his mouth, talk about customer service. My truck went in running and it came out damaged. They said they will not fix it and there's nothing they can do. I left and spoke to another auto repair place and they said, It could have been damaged when they took the gasket out and if they used a wire brush it could have left abrasive in the motor. I asked them to meet me have way with help fixing my truck and they were very rude..Desired Settlement: I want $565.35 that I paid to them for damaged repair..

Company states the consumer came in and stated that the needed the lower intake gaskets replaced. We did not do any testing, we just did the requested repairs. When the consumer came back the truck had over 100 miles on it since it had left. The truck was running when it came in and when it left. We will not refund any money.
