The Massage Heights Lakeway location is not closed and there are additional locations that all Members and guests may visit while maintaining an active membershipThere are several locations in the Austin and Cedar Park area. The Massage Heights Lakeline location (different than Lakeway)
posted a written notice on February 1, inside and outside the location notifying guests and members of the pending closure to be no later than April 30, this is in fact the date this location closed its doors permanently due to a contually leaking roof which the landlord and property management company failed to repair.in addition to the day notice, this location's owners also allowed members and guests to contour receiving massage services and facial services at ANY location in the USA and Canada at no charge All membership fees ceased in May 1, but members could continue to redeem any service credits they had accumulated until July 1, 2017, at any location Massage Heights Lakeline and the corporate office made their best effort to contact active members using the last updated email contact information, in addition to the written posted notice.If a Member was not able to come in and use services for that notification period or cancellation period, we regret that they missed a very long generous period of time from February until July to do so We did go above and beyond any legal requirements to afford members that opportunity We apologize for the inconvenience of the closure many years ago of any Massage Heights, however these locations are each individually owned and operated by our franchise partners We hope you will understand this closure was not a choice but was forced by the failure of the landlord and property manager to maintain the structure in a way that business could be conducted safely, efficiently and consistent with required hours by the Franchisor

2009.  If a member had a valid credit card on file, the price of their membership fee and services did not rise for many, many years.  However, in order to keep their original pricing, their contract stated they needed to choose auto-renewal after the initial term of their membership ran out.  At that time all Members were on a month-to-month membership and could opt out at any time with written notification.  Eventually our grandfathered members who did have auto-renew on file and a valid form of payment such as a credit card, were informed that even their membership fees would have to go up by $10.00 per month which helps to underwrite and increased fees.We would need time to research whether our members is paid up through October and if so, would definitely honor the price if the member has a valid credit card on file and an auto-renew choice selected on her membership.  However, after that time, the member would be joining at the membership price that all our members pay which is now $49.00 and could be raised in the near future to $59.00.We hope our member will allow us to continue to serve her.  Please call the Massage Heights Retreat at Lakeline in Austin, Texas and ask to speak to the Retreat Director about the follow up research to confirm appointment are paid through October of 2015.
