Pro-Venture Concrete, Inc.

Review: [redacted] of Pro-Venture Concrete, Inc. installed a stamped concrete patio in my backyard in October of 2007. While I was pleased with the job at the time, when spring arrived and it was time to use the patio, it was chipping and peeling all over. When [redacted] came to look at it he said he wasn't too sure what was causing the problem, but suggested painting over the bad spots. I agreed to this and although the paint used did not match, I was willing to live with it. Unfortunately, this solved nothing because the patio has continued to deteriorate and I have had to call Mr. [redacted] back every summer. The patio is presently cracked, peeling, and crumbling in spots. The last thing [redacted] said was that he had probably used a bad batch of cement and stated that he would tear out the patio and redo it. Since that time, I have waited patiently for him to make good on his word and make the patio right. The last time I spoke with Mr. [redacted] was in May when he told me he was working on some poolside patios and would redo the patio in June. Since then, I have not heard from him and he does not return my calls. I have also sent him a letter stating that I would take further action if I did not hear from him, which I have not.Desired Settlement: Since I paid $5000. for my patio and Mr. [redacted] suggested tearing it out and redoing it to make it right, I would like my money back so that I can put that towards a new patio.
