We have been using this company for more than 10 years.
In the past they had done a good job on our deck, the job was done well. This year is a different story the job was very poor there were several bad spots on our deck that clearly had not been covered and some discoloration in one area of the deck. We contacted them about this and they came out to look at it and agreed that there were some areas that need attention. They said they would send someone out to fix it. Some time past and nothing happened so we contacted them and they said they would take care of it. A week or so later we rec'd the invoice in the mail stating that "touch ups" had been made. There was absolutely no change to the previous problem areas. We called again and where told that the discoloration is normal and that we shouldn't worry, our deck is protected. While we want our deck protected we also do this for the aesthetics of the deck as well. We were essentially told this is as good as it gets. Very disappointing after dealing with this company for years as a loyal customer who has provided recommendations to others for their services. Very poor communication over all did not return calls.

Have cleaned our deck and our play structure for 7 years. Always professional and do a really good job. They communicate well when they are going to be there and have always followed through.

Pro Woodcare has taken care of my deck and fence for 10 years. I've seen all my neighbors try all kinds of wood preservative and they have all failed. The most rewarding part of Pro Woodcare is sitting on my deck every year watching my neighbors washing and sanding theirs. if they would have just spent the extra money the first time instead of going to a Depot they could be enjoying the natural wood beauty. I would highly recommend Pro Woodcare. It seems Iike every year it keeps lasting longer and longer.

Incredible job. We have a large full log cabin. It had been neglected for 5-7years and never calked correctly. Pro Woodcare did an complete strip calk and refinish. They spent time with us picking out colors and explaining the process, which was extensive. The crew knew what they were doing and was very professional and experienced. Everyone I talked to had a different product driven process which gets overwhelming. From my research Pro Woodcare was as methodical and experience driven as I had seen.

Pro Woodcare advertises that they use certified technicians to perform the work but my children could have done a better job. Anyplace the deck was near the house there was over spray of stain on the siding and window frames. There was even a stain hand print on our swimming pool. Yes...they responded when we called about the problems and they sent out a cleaning crew about half a dozen times to try to get all of the stain off and even re-stained missed areas on the deck rails. They gave us $100 discount as well, but the skill level of the original crew that stained our deck was amatuer and the work was done carelessly. Pro Woodcare would not have heard from us and the bill would have been paid in full right away if this work was done with technical expertise, as advertised, the first time. We still see stain on our siding and it's frustrating, but now we have to live with it. It's a lot of money to have a company do this and we've learned our lesson. We will be doing the job ourselves in the future.

We are a residential home builder/remodeler and have used Pro Woodcare for 15+ years to stain our wood sided and log homes. They are very knowledgeable and skilled at what they do and they are our resource when we have clients looking for a wood restoration contractor. We highly recommend hiring Pro Woodcare!

What I liked about [redacted] company was that I was away from home for periods and the Pro Woodcare crew was able to work without bothering me while I was boat cruising. The project was completed on-time, they arrived when they committed and the invoice was the same as the bid...which was competitive. When I arrived home; there was no evidence of a project or any sort of restoration. It's difficult finding reliable people.

My husband and I have had a horrible experience with Pro WoodCare of Madison. We put down a $100 deposit in May of 2012 to have our new fence preserved, we asked that they hold off the project for one week and then let us know when they can come and complete the project. They never called to reschedule last year and we were busy with a new baby at home so we did not have a chance to call to schedule. I called again May of 2013 to see if we were still on the schedule and we were! I asked when we could get the fence preserved and they said they would be out in a week. Three weeks later I called back to see what happened and they said they would take care of the fence in a week. The summer went by and they never contacted us to complete the work. We are going to be listing our home for sale next spring so I called and asked for my deposit back since they never completed the work. I was told that they do not give refunds and that is all they would say. I told them that we reached out a few times trying to schedule the work and they never completed the job all they said to me over and over again is they do not give refunds. I would never recommend this company to anyone they do not follow through on the jobs they are paid to do!

Pro Woodcare treated my very large deck at my year-round home and they stained my cedar siding, deck and cedar chairs at my summer place. In both cases they did a 100% professional job. They got it done quickly, too. I have recommended them to my friends multiple times.

ProWoodCare has handled not only our roof needs but our deck as well. The work has always been well done and while weather can create scheduling issues they have always worked hard to keep us up to date and hit needed deadlines.

I have had Pro Woodcare stain my house twice. Both times the service and customer care were great. Much better than the contractors I had used in the past. I would recommend them 100%
