I sent in cards oct 2021. they sold 1/3 of them in the next 3 weeks. the other 2/3's disappeared. I called, emailed with several times. with almost no reply. one reply said "they were very busy". I contacted the BBB. they got no reply. I was forwarded to new jersey consumer affairs. they "talked to them". I still have not heard anything more. im out about $4000 worth of cards. I highly recommend you consign with someone else. how they are in business and not shutdown is a mystery to me. ken

Ive been contacting him for the last year about this issue, yet he always blows me off after chatting for a bit and says he will check on it...I just want my money owed to me and be done with it. The owner Rick Probstein has kept my cards that I sent him for consignment 8 months ago and refuses to answer any phone calls or emails. He has literally stolen over a thousand of dollars from me despite me following his exact instructions. Can anyone advise me me on further steps to take against Rick Probstein's thievery?

I sent out seven or eight items to Probstein to co-sign, including a 2016 Cleveland cavaliers signed team ball with two certifications. All items were sold, except for the ball, which was worth thousands more than the others combined. They were all shipped in the same box and all of the other items sold quickly. This is suspicious and leads me to conclude that they either lost or stole by ball. They were not cooperative with helping me to resolve my issue. They asked for my EBay item number, which it never got because it wasn’t ever listed. I will not give them my business again.

I'm planning to file compliant to dist. attorney New Jersey to investigate the crook and fraud as well identify theft, you review BBB, different site on google, to stop this crook call consumer dept. of district attorney office do online with all the supporting document.

Sent list in advance. Sent cards in early May, a few cards gets auctioned. A month plus goes by - promised the rest would be auctioned mid-June, nothing happens for another month, then he picks and chooses a few other cards to auction, and returns the rest. DO NOT CONSIGN with this guy. Holds cards for over 2 months then decides to return to me.

I have bad experience with probestin123, avoid this company, he is crook, he keep our expensive cards, rick probstein does not inform when he will auction your cards.he send invoice that he did auction ,send fake invoice ,. send you underprice invoice, few month later same cards you sold , (which he never auction did)it will listed under buy it now option 3-4 times value he paid you. I am planning to report to NJ district office for consumer fraud, which he prior history.

Review: Seller did not package the cards properly. Consequently, some of them arrived damaged. I offered to allow a partial refund, but the seller refused. The cards that were not damaged have already went out for grading. It is not possible for me to send the entire lot back.
