After 3 weeks, having paid or tuition and annual registration fee, we were told our son was no longer welcome here.
Our son has an anger management issue. As parents we were up-front about this when enrolling him, and we were told about the sophisticated method used here for shaping behavior--redirection, repetition, etc. The usual "what to expect" method.
At any rate, after a couple of good weeks and a couple of not-so-great weeks, our kid had a tantrum. Throwing things, hitting, scratching, etc.
The director, instead of intervening and trying to connect with our son, stood back and took a video with her phone. A video. The other teachers stood back in the video like they were observing a broken lawn mower.
We were told our son was no longer welcome. They kept our registration fee.
The lesson here is that this is "big box" daycare. If your kid isn't right at the behavioral baseline, take them elsewhere or medicate them. Otherwise this place doesn't want them.
