Our house was inspected by this serviceHe was very rude and called me horrible nameHe lied about several things about our houseIt was a scam to get the buyers a lower price on the houseHomeowners bewareI have reports and receipts for things he said were wrong with our homeHit my wax warmer on the wall and spilled wax down my wallBroke my sink and trampled my flowers

Alan G*** did a wonderful job inspecting my house He was very thorough, punctual, and helpful!

I owe ProCheck Engineering a huge thank you for doing an amazing job with our home inspection They kept us from purchasing a home that had major issues we couldn’t see They were prompt and got us our report on the same day! Will definitely use them again!

Professional, knowledgeable and thorough inspection of potential house purchaseI highly recommend

I am rejecting this response because:
The personal attacks in the response show the level of professionalism
of this organization. Once again the
assumptions being made are untrue.
The correct remedy for this situation is to file an insurance
claim. Once a claim is filed the
insurance company will send out an adjuster.
The adjuster will then determine if I do have a viable claim. If I do have a claim they will provide a list
of companies they work with to fix the issues.
However, if the insurance company feels that I do not have a claim and
that Procheck actually provided the service they were supposed to then they
will deny the claim and I would receive nothing. Insurance companies do not give out money for
unsubstantiated claims. If they did they
would go out of business. The fact that
Procheck is denying me the ability to have their insurance company determine if
they provided the service I originally hired them for means that Procheck knows
they are in the wrong and are simply
trying to cover it up. If this wasn’t the
case their insurance company would simply reject my claim.

Not only did my dude Alan G*** from ProCheck do his job punctually, professionally, and thoroughly the first time, he went back and did another separate inspection unrelated to the first for free as a favor to me because my loan company was being ridiculously pickyIf you want above and beyond, look no further

Bill performed an inspection on a new purchase our family was makingHe was very personableExplained his inspection report in detail and even followed up with a phone call afterwardsProCheck and Bill were very easy to work with and very accommodating of our schedule

I had two home inspections that were done by Pro Check engineering1st inspection--done by ChrisHe did an excellent job of my home inspection and was willing to talk to me during the home inspection and address all my questions after the home inspection2nd Inspection--done by Alan (whom I was told was part-owner)He did not communicate very well with me during the inspectionHe did not take me around the outside of the home and and show me the state of the roof and other exterior features, except oneI was told by his secretary that realtors like to use him and steve because they are the ownersI was most displeased at Alan's refusal to answer any questions I had after the inspection (as he acted as if he didn't want to talk to me)He did address about three things only during the inspectionOther than that, no communicationWhen I emailed him after the inspection regarding questions of what he saw when he inspected the property, he deferred me to my realtorI had to tell him--my realtor didn't do the inspectionYou did! It seem to me that this owner didn't want to be a deal breaker and works on behalf of the realtors and not the buyersPlease be wary of using this company and their ownersThey want to stay in the good graces of realtors so they can continue to get businessI had to get additional inspections because I was not given the infoI needed to make an informed decision to buy the houseIn the end, it was an HVAC contractor who inspected the house carefully andwalked me through the entire house and explained the issues that I should beware of and find something better that doesn't have so many issues for the price I was going to payI do not recommend Alan, unless you're a realtor

Alan was on time, thorough and knowledgeableWe also had the termite and radon inspectionsThanks to his findings, we were able to negotiate with the sellers to have several repairs done

I am rejecting this response because:Attached
is a report done by a third party home inspection company. It clearly states that items missed by
Procheck were clearly visible and should have been incorporated into the report
they gave me. As you can see the items missed
on Prochecks report should have been found by a qualified professional
following industry standard. Therefore,
Procheck was negligent in the services they were hired to perform. Because of their negligence I was unable to
negotiate at the time of sale. Items
left off of the report provided by Procheck will create significant expenses to
have these items repaired or replaced. Filing a claim under their errors and omissions
policy is the most efficient way to remedy this situation. If the insurance provider feels that Procheck
was not in the wrong they will not pay the claim. However, if they do feel Procheck is at fault
they will fix the items. This is the
remedy I am looking for. Regards,*** ***

This is a contractual matter rather than an insurance claim. We will extend our settlement offer of $as outlined in the Inspection Agreement

Procheck Engineering did an excellent job for me They were prompt and very thorough*** *** *** *** ***

My wife and I recently purchased our first homeWe chose ProCheck over a few competitors based on recommendations, and couldn't be happierSpecifically, Alan G*** was the inspector of our homeI wasn't sure how the actual inspection would work, but Alan made everything (major) known to me as he went through the home, and explained everything so I understoodIn addition to that, the detailed report we received after the fact has been super helpful as we make some changes/upgrades to the houseWhile everything was professionally discussed, Alan was very personal and genuinely a great guy to talk to as well; he got along great with our dog and has been an awesome point of contact for questions we've had since the inspection (being very willing and available to do so)ProCheck doesn't offer termite inspection, but 100% handles the scheduling (and payment) of the inspection by a separate company, so you don't have to worry about itOverall, the inspection was a great experience and we are very happy with everything that ProCheck provided and did/does

We follow up on every complaint and do not release our insurance information.  In this case I discovered Mr. [redacted]  harassed our inspector for six hours during and after the inspection in order to influence his findings.  As a  wealth manager he understands the quickest...

path to easy money is through an insurance settlement.  The document he signed during the inspection is clearly marked as a legal contract which prescribes dispute settlement procedures.  This type of agreement is standard in the industry and protects us from unreasonable claims.  There is no mention of insurance in the contract.  No dollar figure was discussed in his conversation with [redacted] and all correspondence was handled as quickly as possible.  Mr. [redacted] does not mention the many defects included in the inspection report which he undoubtedly used in his negotiations with the seller. We are offering to settle this dispute by refunding Mr. [redacted]'s inspection fee of $553 which should cover the minor repairs he mentions.  According to the ASHI Standard of Practice the inspector is not required to identify or report cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the component's intended function.  This house is 13 years old and a certain amount of wear and tear is to be expected.
