I am a Commercial Property Manager and I've been using Proctor & Graves for over years They have been my "go-to" company for all my mechanical needs They are quick to respond, advise me of the problem, and fix it promptly The staff has remained the same for years, which is wonderful! I know who will be on my properties, and in my tenant's spaces The management and office staff have been wonderful to work with, and are available 24/7! I had major flooding during the floods, and Proctor & Graves were onsite with me everyday for months while we put everything back together My insurance adjusters even loved them because of their responsiveness and reporting!

I know who will be on my properties, and in my tenant's spaces. The management and office staff have been wonderful to work with, and are available 24/7! I had major flooding during the 2010 floods, and Proctor & Graves were onsite with me everyday for 5 months while we put everything back together. My insurance adjusters even loved them because of their responsiveness and reporting!

Proctor & Graves has been one of our vendors for years. They are quick to reply to our calls and fix the problem at hand. Our account manager is very attentive, and I do not have to worry about the job getting done. I would highly recommend them.

I will never use this company again. For years I used a local plumber whom I trusted for good service at decent rates. When my plumber retired I switched to this company because I saw them doing some work for my landlord. On a positive note this company was usually quick to respond to calls and the service techs seem to be decent guys. Unfortunately I watched our plumbing bills double, triple or more for basic repairs. And to make it worse, several times they had to come back out because the first visit didn't fix the problem. If my old plumber didn't fix the problem during his first visit he would come back and make it right for no charge. These guys will charge you full price to come back and get it right.
On one service call I paid $825 to have a drain cleared on a Sunday afternoon. I didn't think the plumber had run the drain cleaner far enough. When I questioned him he looked me in the eye and promised me that he had cleared the pipe. Guess what, the drain backed up again first thing the next morning. They sent another guy and he cleared the drain. When I asked his opinion he told me the first guy hadn't gone far enough.
On another service call the drain was in a hard to reach location and I offered to remove a wall panel for better access. The plumber assured me he could clear the pipe, from four feet away, without removing the panel. I should have known better. After "fixing" the problem he left. Fifteen minutes later the pipe starting backing up again. We removed the wall panel and removed the blockage by hand. I took photos of the debris he failed to remove and sent it to the company asking them to void the invoice. Despite having time stamped photos showing poor workmanship the manager insisted we pay for the service.
After these experiences I stopped using this company for repairs. I left a message with the manager asking him to review several invoices due to poor workmanship that resulted in multiple visits. I waited several weeks and no one bothered to call me back. Finally I decided which invoices I felt were fair and I notified them that I was sending payment. They called me immediately and said they would waive one of the smaller invoices. Against my better judgement I promised to send payment for a large invoice that I disagreed with. I sent the payment a week or two later and I thought that was the end of it. I was wrong. A few days later I received a ridiculous letter from their lawyer asking me to pay the invoices and an additional $500 in legal fees. I had already sent the payment per my promise...
This company will not accept responsibility for poor workmanship but they are quick to threaten you if you refuse to pay for it. I had no intention of writing this review but the letter from their lawyer was insulting and unnecessary.

Proctor and Graves team delivers the highest quality professional service. Contractors are skilled and experienced. Excellent program management. We will definitely continue to work with Proctor's team as our company grows here in Tennessee. [redacted] Portland Tennessee
