Yes we did an Alignment on his truck, we also informed him of the problem with the slop in his rack and pinion and took him out in shop and showed him the concerned issues and informed him that due to the slop in the rack and pinion his steering wheel will always have play side to side until he replaced the rack and pinion he did not want to replace the rack and pinion so we set his alignment as instructedhe was fully aware of his truck issues and drove it until the following day at 3:00pm on the 15th of May before bring it back to complain, in which he said the jam nut was not tighten up on the right tie rod so we put it on the lift and recheck all work performed and all was good and safe he brought up the issues about the steering wheel being off centered and I explained to him again about the play and slop in the rack and pinon that it would not fix the steering wheel being off center.the alignment was set at when he left on the 14th it had a quarter turn of play in steering wheel

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I was taken to the shop and told about the rack and pinion slop and told that the steering wheel was corrected as good as it could be corrected and that the steering wheel would return to its turned left orientation even if corrected I was unable to see the angle of the steering wheel from standing outside the passenger side window I drove the vehicle home at 10:30AM on 5/14/ The steering wheel had not changed position from prior to the alignment and was still turned left toward O'clock I work night shift and had been awake for approximately hours at that point and returned the truck to Proctorville Tire at my next convenience on Friday 5/15/at 2:30PM After leaving Proctorville Tire on Friday I took the truck to [redacted] [redacted] technician [redacted] stated that the play in the steering wheel was minimal about degrees (not a quarter turn, degrees, as Proctorville Tire responded) [redacted] also stated that it appeared that only the passenger side tie rod appeared to have been adjusted to correct the toe of the truck but that both tie rods would need loosened to re-center the steering wheel [redacted] was able to make the adjustments and perfectly center the wheel and the wheel has not returned to its left orientation as Proctorville Tire stated would occur I have included my invoice from [redacted] showing I was there on Friday 5/15/at 2:59PM I have also included before and after print outs from [redacted] 's tire machine showing when the truck left Proctorville Tire the wheels were not centered (View arrow above "Steer the wheels straight ahead") The [redacted] before document shows that the left wheel was pointed degrees to the right and the left wheel was pointed degrees to the right causing the steering wheel to be held to the left for the truck to drive straight Regards, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I was taken to the shop and told about the rack and pinion slop and told that the steering wheel was corrected as good as it could be corrected and that the steering wheel would return to its turned left orientation even if corrected.  I was unable to see the angle of the steering wheel from standing outside the passenger side window.  I drove the vehicle home at 10:30AM on 5/14/2015.  The steering wheel had not changed position from prior to the alignment and was still turned left toward  1 O'clock.  I work night shift and had been awake for approximately 28 hours at that point and returned the truck to Proctorville Tire at my next convenience on Friday 5/15/2015 at 2:30PM.  After leaving Proctorville Tire on Friday I took the truck to [redacted].  [redacted] technician [redacted] stated that the play in the steering wheel was minimal about 15 degrees (not a quarter turn, 90 degrees, as Proctorville Tire responded).  [redacted] also stated that it appeared that only the passenger side tie rod appeared to have been adjusted to correct the toe of the truck but that both tie rods would need loosened to re-center the steering wheel.  [redacted] was able to make the adjustments and perfectly center the wheel and the wheel has not returned to its left orientation as Proctorville Tire stated would occur.  I have included my invoice from [redacted] showing I was there on Friday 5/15/2015 at 2:59PM.  I have also included before and after print outs from [redacted]'s tire machine showing when the truck left Proctorville Tire the wheels were not centered (View arrow above "Steer the wheels straight ahead").  The [redacted] before document  shows that the left wheel was pointed .28 degrees to the right and the left wheel was pointed .25 degrees to the right causing the steering wheel to be held to the left for the truck to drive straight.
Regards,
[redacted]
