Newspaper articles are gone from the internet, phone lines no longer work such as the [redacted].. nobody answers the [redacted].. Being the desperately overweight it that I am I ordered this Amazing Fat Fighting Smoothie from a newspaper ad with a company name 'Healthy Products For Life'.. They kept saying really fast they were going to charge my card for some subscriptions or something and I told them to forget the order so after about 3 times they knew that I was not falling for that... I received my package in an old picnic plate box with totally different names and information (not much information!) but it was from SlendaSmoothie out of [redacted], **... I think they said it was made in [redacted] or something... no $100 fuel voucher was in the box as promised... I have copied and pasted below SOME of the newspaper ad because 4000 characters you allow doesn't all fit... as I was trying to [redacted] all this stuff the night I ordered it I seen this ad was in newspapers all over the world.. I am soo nervous to take this stuff.. I have tried calling the customer service department for days to ask why I received SlendaSmoothie from Slenda Smoothie where you replace 2 meals a day instead of the Amazing Fat Fighting Smoothie from 'Healthy Products For Life' where you cheat and lose all the weight you can imagine!?!?!?!? Now some of the phone numbers don't work! Who knows what the hell is in these containers!!! (I have in the meantime started a healthy lifestyle change of eating good and exercising and feel great and am already down a few pounds!) She did say she thought our product was fraudulent as she had been calling a number that was a sales number which has since been disconnected. However, after speaking to our customer service representative, she did change her mind and decide to keep and try the product.I did give customer a call this morning to find out if she was satisfied and to let her know that our customer service reps will be happy to help her in the future. She said she had not started using the product and will let us know. This company took my c.c. info and never sent the prizeI received a postal card in the mail when I called to find out what it was the gentlemen told me it was a valued customer gift sent to me by my c.c.co. When I ask what c.c.co. was it from he said he could not give me that info over the phone however he gave me a phone number and delivery info I accepted it and gave him my info credit card number and 3 digit pin on the reverse side of the card, delivery was supposed to be in 10 to 12 days it is now going on 16 days with no satisfaction on my end. I call to find out what was going on I was told the call would be recorded which I was happy to hear when they wouldn't answer my basic question; where is the merchandise they kept asking me personal questions instead of answering mine. I then asked to speak with a manager or a supervisor at which the started to put me on hold without telling me so that I was speaking to myself. when they came back to the line I asked again for someone in charge of the department and they told me to stop yelling I told them this call is recorded according to you and they hung up on me in fact I called back several times to no avail. they kept hanging up on me the names of the 3 Reps are [redacted] and [redacted]. The last time they hung up on me I called my lawyer who advised me to contact the Revdex.com and Consumer Affairs while filling out this info they have repeatedly called both my cell and my day phone only to hang up on me every time I answer. Is this how Customer Service does business today?? I have been victimized by a scam at least this is how it feels when I looked up on line and found that this company has done this before I thought it important and responsible as a consumer to make aware what this company has done several times. I am as we speak being harassed they have called and hung up on me at least 15 time thus far. This is very BAD BUSINESS and must be dealt with asap.Desired SettlementI want a refund to my credit card and I want to be taken off any and all list associated with this companyBusiness Response To whom it may concern:[redacted] received our post card in the mail and responded by calling into our call center to receive product on : System Entry Date: 8/23/2016 10:50:37 AM and spoke to employee : Employee: [redacted] - Edge Marketing. As stated by our call agents that the order is sent to our processing center and than the shipment has to be prepared. This process takes 2 to 3 business days after the order is placed. Once the preparation is done we then send out the package to the address provided by shipping it USPS. The shipment can take up to 4-5 business days as it is shipped USPS. Complaint Splenda Smoothie in Nevada charged my credit card with authorization and I do not have the productI was paying on line bills and noticed a charge from Splenda smoothie on my credit card.l. I only use this card for purchases that I know are not normal to my every day use. I have tried to reach this organization but there never seems to be a person to talk to. I did not authorize Splenda Smoothie Nevada to charge my card and I do not have any product to so for this charge.Desired SettlementI would like my card credited and I do not wish to have any further correspondence with this organization or any of their products since the product did not work Business Response Contact Name and Title: CUSTOMER SERVICE MGRContact Phone: [redacted]Contact Email: [redacted]This customer received her first order on 12/2 according the the tracking report from [redacted]. [redacted] called our customer service line and spoke to one of our reps on 1/31/2014 and was told her order charged on 1/24/2014 was to be delivered on 2/3/2014 according to [redacted] tracking# [redacted]. [redacted] communicated to the rep that she did not want this shipment and was given an [redacted] to return the product and get a refund as soon as it arrived. I also had the marketing company who took the order pull the recording of [redacted]'s original order and not only did she order the product but she also agreed to the auto ship feature. [redacted] if she is interested can have the recording emailed to her. In addition, I had the accountant refund her order back to her credit card on 2/3/2014 even though we have not received the product back from [redacted].So contrary to this customers claim that she could not speak to our company, she did and was given instructions on how to get her refund. If there is any other information needed, please let me know. Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I wrote this complaint prior to talking with the company. Since then the product has been received and returned with the RMA # provided, my account was credited except 3.27 which I have paid out of pocket. I did not agree to auto shipments and I did not agree to the other products offered at this time of ordering. The representative gave me four different numbers to contact if I did not want to get any jewelry and since I did not receive any other products other than the one ordered I did not realize I would be on the auto shipment plan. I feel this complaint closed and I do not encourage any other person to deal with this organization.
