Dear [redacted] :Thank you for your letter of ID # [redacted] , [redacted] brought his [redacted] (years old) to Professional Auto Body to fix his trunk on 4/12/2015.Two weeks later he called me and complained about some scratches on his trunk, I told him to bring it back and I would take care of the problemAnd I did.Three months later on 7/31/2015, [redacted] called me again and complained that there are some more scratches on the lower part of the trunk! [redacted] brought the car back and it took MrMarlon H [redacted] , who has more than years of painting experience and did the original painting of the car, two days to fix the problemOn 9/26/in the morning [redacted] came and picked up his car without telling me or signing any paperwork! [redacted] , I have been in this service business for yearsI already learned that for some customers you cannot satisfy them 100%!!!I would request that [redacted] takes pictures of the scratches for you to see!Desire Settlement:I will fix it the 4" time if [redacted] wants me to do so.Regards,M [redacted] A [redacted]

To Whom It May Concern:In reply to Mr. [redacted] complaint about the refinish work on his 1992 Ford Bronco, we have gone above and beyond the normal procedures for repairing and refinishing our customers vehicles. The vehicle was 15 years old when he brought it in the first time. If you read...

the attached two letters, one from Kelly L**, who is a representative of PPG (the paint material company that we use) and one from the Manager at Professional Auto Body South, you will come to understand that we did more than what was originally paid for. The original repair & refinish was in the amount of $4513.50, not over $5000.00 as he stated in his complaint. Also, Mr. [redacted] expected us to warranty rust and fiberglass cracks. There is no warranty on rust or fiberglass. The only way to get rid of rust is to cut it out or replace the part. In my opinion, Mr. [redacted] comes in about every three years wanting a new paint job on his vehicle for free. His vehicle is now 23 years old and would be considered a restoration job. Any vehicle over 12 yeqrs old (according to the PPG warranty) is considered a restoration. Restoration on vehicles generally starts around $15,000 and the sky's the limit. Mr. [redacted] did not want to spend that kind of money, yet he expects that kind of refinish work. I truly am sorry that we could not make Mr. [redacted] a happy customer because we strive everyday to make all our customers happy and satisfied. There will always be one that you can never satisfy. In the almost 30 years that Professional Auto Body has been in business, this is the first and only complaint to the Revdex.com. Again, I really believe that we gave more than 100% to Mr. [redacted] and his 1992 Ford Bronco. We have a great reputation, not only in Central Oregon, but all over the State of Oregon. Thank you for your time and I hope this resolves this matter.Always, Patricia ** R[redacted]Co-OwnerProfessional Auto Body
