OUR COMPANY POLICY for customers that have no terms with us is to be paid in full prior to any work beginning.  We gave him a bid and required that the balance of equipment be paid in full prior to shipment. gave us $5000 and begged us to get the work done. We did reluctantly,and received another partial payment later. Some of the equipment was new and some was repair parts (like the high pressure pump). The original bid did not include chemicals or the air compressor that was not working, these items were invoiced separately. We finished the work and had the wash operational. [redacted] wanted a longer high pressure hose than what we supplied. We offered to credit him that part. After not receiving the balance payment, which was clearly stated several times, we refused to do any follow up or warranty work until we received such payment). We even had to be reimbursed directly from the insurance company so that we would receive payment for the chemicals that we delivered. (our original estimate 447, shows no chemical or air compressor. Again, all of the items would have been taken care of if the owner would have paid when agreed upon. We have learned our lesson not to start any work unless paid in advance.
