Professional Collision Center Reviews (2)

Worst customer service ever. I have been trying to get my money back from the insurance so I can get my truck painted some where else and they don't even answer the phone. "[redacted]" and [redacted] will smooth talk you bad. Professional collision center is not even register with the state. I am suing this people. They didn't want to give me my truck back after a lot of discussion and see them personally use it as personal use for them, I went and got my truck with no gas, smelling like stuck water and a flat tire. Please don't go there save yourself of trouble.

Review: My truck was involved in an accident in December of 2013. I had it sent to Professional Collision for repairs. It took them almost 6 weeks to get the work done. There were additional issues from the minute I got the vehicle back. When they drove the truck to me, the tire was pretty much flat. I didn't even get in it. It was taken back in right away to fill the tire with air. When I got in the truck the brake light was blinking on my dashboard as well as my passenger window not letting down, the lock/unlock button would not work, nor would the rearview mirror work. The emergency break was on, so I assumed that was the issue, I turned it off, and drove off because I had things to take care of. Then, once I drove off of the property, I noticed that the truck's brake like would not turn off even though I turned the emergency brake off. I immediately called [redacted] (the [redacted] rep that I have been dealing with) and she said for me to bring it in two days later when I was free to get it to her. I took it back, and the brake light was repaired. I realized later that the door still had not been repaired. So now, I had to find time to take it back to them again. They looked at it, and told me that it was because of aftermarket alarm. this made no sense to me seeing that I had that alarm on my truck for over 3 years without any issues. [redacted] thought that it was the window motor, and ordered a right side motor. The part was ordered. When I got to the shop, my car was returned to me in less than 10 minutes. They said that they received a motor for the driver's side instead and would have to reorder the correct part. Now this period of time has dragged on for quite a long time between all of these issues as well as this business firing a lot of its workers, my graduating school, and leaving to go back home for some personal family business, causing my truck got lost in the shuffle. I finally got back in touch with Warren (I believe he's the manager, or either the owner) to try to get to the bottom of things. During this break when nothing was getting done with my truck, [redacted] said that they didn't want to just replace the motor in case it was something else, and they wanted to get a diagnostic done by a Nissan dealer to find out the exact problem. Warren told me that I would have to pay a 34.75 fee for the rental car if it was found not to be his nor [redacted]'s fault. I agreed, because I knew that there were no issues with the window of my truck what so ever before the accident took place. I then got a call from Warren saying that the dealer said that it was not accident related, although I knew otherwise. This issue was either caused by the accident, or one of his techs did sometime wrong during the almost 6 weeks of repair. Warren then told me that he took my vehicle back to Professional Collision and found out that the lock and rearview mirror now worked, but not the window. He then told me he would contact me in 30 minutes. He called me in less time than 30 minutes stating that they took a window motor out of another vehicle and it worked fine afterwards. He then wanted to charge me $72 for the part and 3 hours worth of labor to install it. He wanted to charge me 3 hours labor for something that took him less than 30 minutes to diagnose, remove the part from another vehicle, install it in my vehicle, and then test it out. That made no sense to me. I feel that his company has been extremely shady this entire time. There is no reason that I should still be dealing with these issues 8 months after the initial accident that brought me to them. Once I told him that I refused to pay that, he then told me that I had to pay a $165 charge to the Nissan dealer for doing the diagnostic. I was never told that I would have to pay that. [redacted] was the one saying that they wanted to find out the exact issue before they repaired it. No one never informed me of this charge. There is no way that I would of paid someone $165 just to look at my truck, and especially when I had to buy school clothes for my kids who start school in 2 weeks. I could of gotten it done much cheaper elsewhere.

Can someone please help with this issue. I can't afford to give them $165. That just messed up money to get my kids school clothes. This whole thing has just been drawn out for entirely too long.Desired Settlement: I feel that the work should be done on my vehicle at no charge to me. My vehicle was not broke prior to the accident. I also feel I should not have had to pay that diagnostic charge from the dealer. No one told me of this charge. I was only told that [redacted] wanted to have the dealer look at it first to determine the exact cause.
