Review: These people called me saying they were based in NY said the name of their company is PCS and that they were representing Cash Advance USA. A man by the name of [redacted] said that I owed $300 on an outstanding payday loan from July 2012. I asked for a more specific date because I did not recall pulling one out. He failed to do so and said that if I did not pay the amount owed that I would have to go to court. He told me to call Cash Advance USA and gave me this number ###-###-####. The number that the supposed [redacted] called me from was ###-###-####. When I called the 818 number a man named [redacted] answered....not being racist but they sounded like [redacted] or of [redacted] decent. [redacted] said I owed 300 dollars and had to pay before it went to court. I pulled up my credit report and looked at my bank statement and nothing from that company showed up. When I told them this [redacted] and [redacted] both said that this is because the account has just been sent to the credit services. Well I know for a fact that I didn't use any payday loans during this time and when I asked for them to send me any documents on this matter [redacted] stated that they are only the legal department and could not send me anything in the mail but could only send it by email if I agreed to pay the amount. I told them I do not agree and told them that I refuse to pay. They insisted that it was going to court down here where I live in TN and I said okay. After looking online found out that this is a SCAM but they said they were based out of NYC.Desired Settlement: I do not want these people to contact me anymore if they do I don't know how to stop them if they are not in the United States, but if they are and they are caught please let me know so I can press charges on them for fraud
