this paperwork was finalized on 5-the check was received by Toyota today for the paymentsThe dealer makes every effort to finalize all paperwork within days which it has in this case

There has been no work on the engine area on my truck since [redacted] did the timing belt change except for oil changes which do not affect the area in question Yes the wires show recent signs of wear, which is why there was a problem [redacted] is assuming that the wires had a hard contact to the pulley, which would cause fast wear But, the wires had only light contact with the pulley This leads to a very slow wear ~ 10yrs Wires have a corrugated tube, then the coating over the wire before you get to bare wires With a light contact (meaning it barely touches and swings), it will take a long time for the wear to occurYes, they did ask me to bring it to them, but the truck was not running properly and I did not want to pay for towing to their facility as I had already gotten it to *** Plus it would have taken me 2-hours to get it there from my house

The title had to be redone due to a clerical issueThe dealer is handling this and dropping plates off to customer

I am sorry for the delay responding to consumers concerns The sales associate [redacted] that Ms [redacted] has been trying to reach has been on leave off and on since April Toyota West sold this Nissan Altima to [redacted] back on February 7, and since it was years old and had 138,miles on it at the time of the sale it was advertised on the federal Buyers Guide and on the lot as 100% AS ISMs [redacted] signed on the Federal Buyers Guide and the Buyers order that clearly shows she was buying the vehicle as is As a Goodwill gesture Toyota West would be happy to try and save Ms [redacted] on the cost of repairs to her vehicle through a local repair shop but this will be all we can do to help Please see attached copies of the buyers guide and buyers order

The customer can trade the car for market value at the dealershipBeing that the bank and the customer own the truck I would not be able to just take the truck back as it would negatively effect the customers credit

We have made customers first payment although it was customers request to redo paperwork days after saleToyota west will help no further in this matter

I am rejecting this response because: I would assume that the term "optional" would mean that your employees shouldn't tell the customers that in order for the bank to approve your loan you "have" to purchase a warrantyHow exactly would telling someone they have to do something, be optional? We were told by your finance person that in order for our loan to be approved we had to purchase the warranty because the bank felt better about approving the loan with a warrantyWe actually told him "NO" we don't want anything extra and that's when he said the bank won't approve the loan without itNot sure how that is considered "optional?" Yes I agree it is SUPPOSE to be "optional" but in this case and many others, it was not made to seem that wayHe had the option to treat us fairly but chose not to because he knew that we were transferring almost $5,in negative equity and found some way to use it against us by saying that a bank would only approve that much negative equity with a warranty Regards, [redacted] ***

I spoke to this customer and offered for us to take him a rental car, pick his up and return the car to him so there would be no inconvenience to himThe customer declined my offer and said they would bring the car back themselvesI had Chris do his repair at cost As for the door being damaged during installation I questioned the technician and he had no recollection of it and said that if he knew it was damaged he would have fixed it on the spot.Thanks

Although we strive to make sure all of our cars are inspected and safe, we do not represent a year old vehicle as being perfect or needing nothingToyota West has no interest in paying for customers bill

All products offered to our customers are optionalCustomers are able to accept or decline at the time of purchaseThe vehicle cant be just returned although we would be willing to give the customer market value for the truck on purchase or trade

I called and confirmed payment yesterday

The dealership has sent the check for remaining payments to Toyota motor credit

Toyota West did repair this vehicle and the loan is funded with the financial institution but we are going to go ahead and payoff the lender and return the vehicle to stock.

In Ms ***'s transaction Toyota West did notify Ms *** promptly they she needed certain qualifications to obtain membership at a local credit unionMs *** was unable to fufill the necessary requirement to become a memberToyota West did obtain a second approval at a lower rate and payment to
the client, then took the paperwork to her upon her request due to scheduling issues on her endToyota West prepared the paperwork incorrectly and once notified by the lender the dealer overnighted her paperwork to her new address out of stateToyota West was unable to provide the client with a second day tag because of our agreement with the Ohio BMV, the customer must go to the Ohio BMV and request a hardship tag, because the customer is now residing in PA that unfortunately was not an optionToyota West will reimburse the client if any ticket is issued because of this titling delay as a measure of good faith because we are aware of the clients situation

***, and find the resolution is satisfactory to me However, it should be noted that the lease was executed on May 15, The manager of the dealership expressly stated that payment should have been made (we spoke today) and was appalled by the poor customer service available at his dealership Regardless of the dealership's policy of paying the old lease within days, I was not informed of this policy and was told instead to cancel my upcoming auto payment which resulted in my account becoming delinquent This was a complete error on the dealership's part and payment would not have been made today had I not threatened to cancel my lease

I simply stated two options as to settling this complaintYou say you can't take the truck back, okaySo then take the $and the rest of the maintenance charge, which is $103, off the total of my loanSeeing as how your dealership forced us to buy the warranty and lied to us about the year free maintenanceYou may say it's "optional" but in this case it was notYour finance manager worked illegally.

We have called the customer and requested a time for them to come in and
review the paperwork since there seems to be confusion over the phoneThe customer has spoken with my finance director and internet director about the paperwork over the phone and still is not clear so we feel it would serve better for the customer to review it in personIf the customer does not want to come back to the dealership we need to close this complaint
