I had a horrible experience with Handyman Matters. DON'T EVER HIRE Handyman Matters. While they have good reviews at Angie's list, my experience was below awful.
Even though I usually don't spend much time writing reviews, this time I want to provide input on this horrible experience, so people don't fall into the same trap.
They were not professional, had poor business commitment, besides being pricey ( they charge per hour but it takes forever to get the job done ). I felt like I was ripped off, and let down on the job performed.
They only finished hanging a planter, but didn't finish installing the Xmas lights, neither my patio lights as agreed. Also, said they could install an outlet, but don't have a license for it, so after looking at the job, they said they could not it ...
Changed the appointments a few times, with very short notice ( day before ), and didn't include the Angie's list coupon on their price when I had to pay them.
And to wrap it up, they damaged my deck.
Hard to put in words my frustration with those guys. But this was their first and last time working for me.
