Review: Hired this attorney on December of 2013. Been paying monthly for her services. The only thing done is the I-130. Call montly to know the status of our case and the answer remains the same that everything is going great. Found out on December 1st 2014 that she is not eligible to practice law by the state bar of California effective June of 2014 and she did not inform anyone about this. Continued to received payment by us and who know how many other clients. Taking the money and not doing anything with anyones cases. The only reason how we found out was through her assistant and was a major shock to us coming from someone who worked for her. Also mentioned that this lawyer is in drugs and alcohol and not focused on the responsabilites at hand. This is fraud and it's criminal. Will also reach out to PD of orange county to see what they think about this matter and what I can do to help other victims. Also reaching out to State Bar of CA.Desired Settlement: At least be refunded for the time she did nothing with our case and when her license became inactive. She didnt even communicate to inform her clients about her situation and continued to accept monthly payments from us. I wish to be refunded from June 2014 to October 2014. Since her license was active before June and she did complete at least the I-130 to our immigration case I guess that portion will have to be overlooked. Payments have been $300 per month. For a total of $1,500.00.
