First, let me say that I cannot figure out how this company has a rating of out of Definitley a bogus rating [redacted] approached my house on Jan, 8, and asked to do a roof inspection as his father [redacted] had installed the roof several years prior(what an experience that was) We agreed to install drip edges on the sides of the house and to install a new gutter in front with gutter guards and coats of paint One of his employees (***) went into my attic and stated that I needed some reinforcing, or rafters removed and replaced and some support hangars for the roof vents He gave me a quote and asked for some cash upfront I never saw [redacted] again Anyway, the drip edges were installed and the gutter hung The gutter guards were never installed and was one short, the downspout was not lagged to the house, and the second coat of paint on the gutter was never completed As far as the attic work, [redacted] screwed 3-2x8s to the existing rafters and installed or pieces of 2x4s as supportNo rafters were removed or replaced or vent supports installed When [redacted] said he was finished, I simply told him that you are not finished and that you have not: 1.) installed the gutter guards and that he owed me one also 2.) Lagged the downspout to the house 3.) Painted the gutter He still insisted he was finished When I told [redacted] that he had not replaced any rafter per the contract or supports for the roof vents he said that he fulfilled the contract I then gave a copy of the contact to [redacted] who had done some minimal work in the attic ***'s reply to me was, "I have never seen this contract before." It appeared that [redacted] fully understood what need to be done according to the contract and was making up a materials list for the job I believe [redacted] understood that the contract was not fulfilled and wanted to complete the work but then [redacted] left taking [redacted] with him and I have not seen are heard from [redacted] again As with the other gentleman who had this experience, when the job was started I had the same problem trying to get in touch with [redacted] First he lost his phone and hadn't replaced itThen his battery was dead I paid Professional Maintenance a total of $in two checks and cash and received about hours worth of work and this job was never even nearly completed I should know better when you are writing checks to an employee rather than the business and giving cash My options seem to be only to go to court And I am considering that

[redacted] approached me on 1/8/and said he would do a roof inspection We agreed that he should put on drip edges on the side of the house and I asked him to put up a new gutter One of his people, [redacted] went into my roof crawl space and said I needed to have some rafters removed and replaced and some supports in the attic and a support bracket for my roof vents and gave me a price and asked for some cash upfront I never saw [redacted] again As it turned out, I wrote two checks to [redacted] and gave them some cash In total, I paid $ I was left high and dry The roof drip edges were installed The gutter was hung but the gutter guards were not installed and was also one short, the gutter downspout was not lagged to the house, and the second coat of paint on the gutter was not done [redacted] screwed 2xto existing beams in the attic and a few 2xbracing No beams were replaced and no support brackets for the roof vents When [redacted] said that he was finished I said no you are not I then gave the quote for the roof work to [redacted] who then stated, "I have never seen this before"So, [redacted] did what he thought with the materials [redacted] gave him but was never shown the contract and was never told by [redacted] as to what the contract stated These people are scam artistThey will definetly ask for monies up front daily and might ask for cash and will have you write the check to someone in the business but not directly to Professional Maintenance They spend more time running to the bank to cash your check than they do work on the job Stay away from these people They will give you a sob story about their family and they are trying to make a living and then take your monies, do less than minimum, claim they are finished and you never see them again This company, I believe was actually a restart of a company named [redacted] I paid these people $in two checks and cash and received about hours of work and mostly uncompleted jobs and [redacted] insist he completed the job and knows he didn't come close I am with the other gentlemen who had previous experience with these people and will have to look to the courts to resolve this issue It is a shame that others who have experienced the same as I and the other gentleman do not report this to Revdex.com and N.C[redacted] Division and or take them to court Those are our only options in addressing scammers and driving them out of business Get the word out
