this home posed nothing out of the ordinary. The valve was simply pulled down to allow the shower to operate and water began to spray out at the base. There was no force used to operate the valve. This was none other than a simple home maintenance issue. Water would have begun to spray out no matter who had turned it on next, as evidenced by both the home purchaser and the realtor.  The repair for this item is just over $20 and did not impact the buying decision. In an effort to keep the peace, the realtor offered to pay for the repair, however, it was refused by the home owner.
