Subject: Complaint I.D# [redacted] Plumbing service was contracted on sept19th I discussed with her over the phone the issue with the shower headShe could not provide me answers to specific questions that I asked due to second hand information provided by her maintenance manShe provided a picture that gave me no information to aid in description of repairI then contacted her handy man directly who wasn't able to give me any information as to what needed to be repaired he also informed me of other issues with the diverter on the bath and shower unit with no specificsI then called the customer back and notified her that there was no way I could give a price over the phoneI (Clearly) told her that I could have one of my journey man plumbing techs come over and diagnose the issue and that we charge a service fee of $+ tax, which she agreed toMy technician met with her maintenance man and assessed that the shower valve needed to be replaced to (properly) fix the issueMy technician notified her of the cost to replace the shower valve and she declinedWe still charged her the + tax service fee that was agreed upon over the phoneIn no way did we deceive this customer, all was explained to her very clearly due to her lack of understanding over the phone and she was charged accordingly.The $that was charged to the card was total including taxThe$total was to show we are charged a percentage use a square reader credit card service and Is no additional charge to the customer

I'm so sorry about the file that was unable to uploadIn a few wards,I'm rejecting their response because the pictures that I sent,with my handy man explanation of the actual problem,should give this company enough information to give me approximate estimate over the phone before comingThey gave me falls hopes by letting me believe that the "charge shouldn't be that much"as they told me on the phone.I accepted their word and agreed for them to come,with the plan that I'll hire them for the work,based on the promise,that "it will not be that much".If I had an idea that the estimate will be over $which they never specified in any kind of form,or receipt that this will be the price,based on what they found,I would never agreed in the first place for them to come to do the job,as I wanted them to,right from the beginning.I feel deceived and treating unfairly,and therefore,I don't think that I should pay the price for their service call,that it shouldn't happened if they were fair and honest with me from the first time of my callIf they couldn't understand the issue with the shower head,they should ask more questions,after the pictures I've sent them,and my handy man explanations,and not decided to come for a service call charge,just to give me a higher estimate from what they've told me on the phone.I think that was very calculated in their part,to get away with the service call charges (over $70) and not have to do any thing if I will declined.Based on their unfair business dealing and dishonesty behavior,I am not willing to pay the charge that could be easily avoided if all their true information would be disclose to me on the phone before they cameThanks a lot Kay for your time and cooperation in this matter!
