Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
*** did NOT inspect any other pipes or fixtures nor did he go into the basement to make sure the leak had stoppedAfter my mother had come up from looking at the pipes in the basement, which frankly, is what I called a plumber for, and informed him that it was still dripping, she was told that this was 'water sitting on the outside of the pipes'The leak was NOT from the rot on the floorAs stated in my original complaint, there was a slight crack in the toilet tank which would cause there to be excessive wetness on the bathroom floorIt was so excessively wet that it was leaking into the basement! Once the toilet was replaced, without fixing the rot on the floor, the leak stopped
If the leak was truly from the rot on the floor I would let things goMy anger is because *** did as little as possible when he was at my homeHe ASSUMED what the problem was without checking anything else out *** may be a master certified plumber but my very unqualified friend is the one that fixed my problem
As requested in my original complaint, I would kindly like to have the $fee I was charged
Regards,
*** ***

Case #[redacted]
The customer request a service call for a leak through ceiling and scheduled and appointment.
We had sent one of our registered Master Plumbers, Tim to locate water leak and he had determined the water leak was from toilet area. There were no visible leaks from above...

floor or near any plumbing fixtures. He had determined the water leak was from under toilet. After he had removed the toilet it was found there was excessive wet and rotted wood floor under the toilet due to leakage. We then reset the toilet with new seal and advised there was no guarantee for repair due to excessive floor damaged and he could not set toilet properly, until floor replacement.
At that time there was no water leakage into basement and confirmed by customer. This was a temporary repair for only temporary use.
It is our opinion floor replacement is required to ensure no water leak from toilet area.

Review: I called to make an appointment to get a plumbing inspection on a auction house that I was looking to buy. I live out-of-state, so I was not present for the inspection but my real estate agent and sister-in-law were present. I asked for a dye test which he quoted $135 and an air compression test and sewer camera test, which he told me would be around $300. They arrived on time and completed the inspection. They were not able to do the sewera camera test because they did not have the proper equipment.I got a phone call the next day, by one of the supervisors who wanted to discuss payment. He said that he was going to charge me $435. I informed him that they were not able to do the sewer camera test, which he was not aware. He said that he still need to charge a $50 attempt fee. I also asked him to send the report, which they had not done yet. He said that he would talk to the plumber who was at the work site to confirm pricing.About four hours later, I noticed that my credit card was charged $435, without hearing back from him and without received a report. I called the supervisor and he has still not talked the plumber who did the work. I also asked about the $20 coupon on his website for any work over $100. He flat out told me that there was no such coupon on his website and I was mistaken. There is under the special offer section of [redacted].So bascially, he charged me the full price even though they did not do 1/3 of the inspection. He did not honor the $20 coupon that he did not even know was on his website and he charged my credit card without sending me a report or confirming with the plumber what was actually done during the inspection. There are definitely more professional plumbers and honest out there.Desired Settlement: I feel that I was overcharged for the services that were provided. I was charged before getting a report of the services and I did not receive an invoice/receipt of what was actually done before my credit card was charged. They also did not honor a coupon displayed on their website.

Review: Hired plumber to come repair leak in area of 1st floor toilet. Water was significantly leaking into basement. Plumber came pulled toilet and replaced wax ring. He NEVER checked pipes in basement. In fact, he never checked anything else and had my 70 year old mother, who kindly stayed at my house for the repair, run up and down the stairs to check on the leak in basement. When she said there was still some water leaking he said this was "water on the pipes". He literally spent about 10 minutes in my house. When I came home from work, the leak was just as bad. After further investigation, it turns out the toilet tank itself was the source of the leak. There is rot of the subfloor around toilet which a carpenter friend is fixing in a couple of weeks. When the plumber was told what the actual source of the leak was he basically accused me of lying saying that the leak was because of the rot. All I know is once a new toilet was installed, over the same rotted floor, the leak stopped.Desired Settlement: This plumber was lazy and looked at nothing in my home to check and see if there were any other causes of the leak. All I want is the $125 that he charged to do nothing.
