Review: On September [redacted] 2015, I ordered 2 Sennheiser cables for $94.10 USD (I paid $128.52) through the Professional Sound Services (PSS) website for the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association (CHHA), but was quickly emailed back by Phil P[redacted] (a sales rep) who let me know that the company they order these items from no longer carried this and that they were unable to find an alternative for me. On September [redacted], Phil emailed me to say that their refund process usually "takes a day or so to be completed" and he mentioned that he should have a refund receipt hopefully by the end of that day. By September [redacted], I still had not received my refund, so I followed up via email to ask when they could provide proof of a refund (I CC'd the President of PSS, Rich Topham when I followed up) and Rich replied back the same day saying "It will happen today". Unfortunately, when I was refunded on September [redacted], they only credited my account $120.95 (at the time, the conversion rate was lower resulting in the difference of $7.57 not being credited to my account). I followed up with Rich directly, explaining the discrepancy due to the exchange rate and attached a copy of my credit statement (with all other sensitive information blacked out) to show this difference. Rich replied back stating "I will fix it" on September [redacted], but nothing happened. I followed up again via email on September [redacted] to ask how things were going with the refund to which he replied the same day "It's in the words sorry for the trouble". Finally, on October [redacted] 2015, I followed up again asking for a timeline for him to refund the outstanding $7.57CDN, and he called the office of the CHHA (which is the least accessible method of contact for me, since I had informed both Rich and Phil that I have a hearing loss and prefer to use email for clarity). Rich stated that I had already been given a refund, and when I clarified that due to the exchange rate difference I was shortchanged $7.57CDN he said "[redacted]" I asked him why he's given me the run around for so long, to which he replied "[redacted]" and I said "likely because you shortchange your international customers on refunds". Finally, Rich said "[redacted] and hung up on me. To say the least, this is completely unprofessional conduct - all I want is the $7.57CDN that I am owed. When we offer refunds to international customers through CHHA, we make every effort to help them and when there is a discrepancy in the exchange rate, CHHA will eat the difference to ensure our customers are happy - something that Rich at PSS obviously does not do.Desired Settlement: I only want my $7.57CDN refunded - its the least they can do for a months' worth of dickering, false promises from their President and an order that was never filled by Professional Sound Services.
