Mr*** called me to describe his complaintUnfortunately we show no record of a repair in our body shopThe *** report show minor damage/ cosmetic, dents or scratchesWe routinely have scratches and or dents repaired by our vendors that usually cost between $and $depending on the
severityKY state law states that we must disclose damage over $The amount that *** *** stated it was worth was over inflated when I looked at book values the day Mr*** calledHad he called before trading the car to *** I would have been happy to look at it with himUnfortunately we are not able to confirm what they disclosed to him

Test Drive Campaign: There is a test drive coupon campaign that pops up on our websiteIt is directly from the manufacturer (Subaru) and run by a third party vendor (*** ***)After the customer’s initial visit, I went in to redeem the coupon and could not find the customers information in
the systemI asked the customer yesterday to request another coupon, forward me the information, and I would redeem the new oneShe did, but when I redeemed it there was an alert that said this customer had already received the reward for this campaignI took a screen shot and forward this information to the customer , and she replied that she had never received the rewardI called the dealer support number for *** *** to see if I could issue her another oneThe *** *** representative was able to locate the original email that was sent to her with the $virtual gift cardIt was actually redeemed for her by another local Subaru dealershipSince this campaign came from the manufacturer, per the terms and conditions there’s a limit of one redemption per household, not per dealership visited*** *** sent her an email explaining this, and she replied that she still had never received the reward*** *** responded that Subaru would allow for them to issue her another card if the original one wasn’t activated and still had the $balanceThey were able to confirm that the gift card sent to her email was activated, and that the balance was $*** *** has emailed the customer and copied me with all this information Credit Issue: During the initial visit we were trying to obtain a lease payment that was in the range where the customer wanted to beWe did receive the customers signature allowing us to pull a credit bureauWhere the confusion came from was, would it be a soft or hard pull on her creditThe salesperson did mistaking tell her that he thought it would be a soft pullWe have since resolved this issue per the customer’s request, and had the pull removed from her credit reportShe is aware that this has been taking care of. If there are any more question’s concerning this complaint please feel free to contact me. Sincerely, *** *** General Sales Manager Bachman Subaru *** *** * ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
[redacted]       Initially I was told that Bachman Subaru does not have records going back seven years. There is apparently therefore no way of knowing whether the repairs cost more or less than $1,000.00 (KRS 186A540). Clearly, [redacted] Ford will therefore have to reveal the existence of the accident record to a new buyer. Their estimate of $1,500.00 for the necessary reduction in their selling price resulting from this disclosure seems reasonable. I am about $1,500.00 out of pocket and expect to be reimbursed.    The proposed trade-in price for the Subaru was $10,000.00 and this was based on a Kelley Blue Book number from the evening prior to the trade-in. I have retained a print-out of this material.[redacted]
