Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Why was [redacted] told she have a day warranty when it was really a 9o day/mile service contract and even during that period when she brought the vehicle to the facility attention nothing was done? [redacted] have photos as well for the damages that brakes for less show her that what was wrong with the vehicleand she brought it to your facility attention and nothing was done and even though the facility states they do not do repairs but direct her into a quality shop why was she not directed? [redacted] understands her obligations but what she does not understand is when she called to have her car checked into nothing was done and now that the warranty is now reach its ending point now the facility have options..when this could have been avoided in the beginningWhen the car was overheating and she called to see if anything could be done why was towing not brought to her attention then why did [redacted] just received the response to pull over then start it again or to give your facility a call if it happens again? Regards, [redacted] ***

I am rejecting this response because:Why was [redacted] told she have a 90 day warranty when it was really a 9o day/3000 mile service contract and even during that period when she brought the vehicle to the facility attention nothing was done? [redacted] purchased a vehicle on February 20th, 2016. The vehicle was sold to her AS-IS with no warranty through Ride Now Auto Sales. She had a 90 Day / 3,000 mile service contract on the vehicle from an outside party "ASC Warranty". The vehicle is being financed through a finance company that is...

not the dealership. They are U.S. Auto Credit Corp, located in Jacksonville, FL. The vehicle that [redacted] bought is a high-performance vehicle. It has a HEMI engine and requires routine maintenance. When every vehicle is brought into the dealership it goes through a very in-depth inspection to verify that there is no mechanic issues or any service that needs to be done. The cosmetic issues with the vehicle was known to the customer initially and she was aware of the screen issue. We are strictly a sales facility and do not have the ability to do service & repair work. As far as taking the vehicle to "Brakes For Less", women who are not knowledgable of the mechanics of cars, should be very careful when taking their vehicles to places like this. These places pray on women and scare them into believing everything is wrong with the vehicle to push repairable items. There only source of revenue is to sell more parts and service to each customer. Therefore they magnify the problems with vehicles to increase tickets. If the vehicle was overheating, you are supposed to pull over immediately and tow it to a repair facility. The HEMI engine is very delicate when it comes to running hot due to the Aluminum heads the vehicle has. They are very susceptible to cracking and warping if not treated correctly. I am very sorry for the unfortunate situation that [redacted] is in, but being that this vehicle was purchased in February and its now October, there is nothing that we can do. We can direct her to a QUALITY shop that we work with directly to get her our cost on doing the engine repair. Typically that will be significantly lower than it would be at "Bryan's garage". Regardless of what she decides to do, she also needs to understand that this is going to affect her credit if she does not pay on it. I understand the hardship of being on a fixed income but you still have obligations and bills. You cannot just "Let a car go". That's like buying a house, having a mortgage, and when the roof needs to be replaced, just saying "Oh Well, ill just move."
