The documents of this transaction from October show that there is more to the vehicle purchase than what is stated in the complaint This Equinox was actually purchased with an additional service contract covering it for an additional months or 12,miles, which does add value and benefits over the typical [redacted] Equinox The customer also purchased years of [redacted] paint protection and fabric defense and years of Crystal Fusion Windshield Protection In addition to those charges, the amount listed in the complaint includes tax, title and registration The book values never factor in any of the additional fees, tax, or optional items purchased Based on the full transaction breakdown, the customer received a fair price for the additional options and for the vehicle purchased

this issue with your vehicle. We have looked at the work you mentioned we completed in March. Those repairs are not related to the issue you have currently. The repairs were for transmission lines that were leaking and are not related to the engine failure or a coolant leak. If we can be of service in some other way please feel free to contact us.

Progressive Chevrolet is going to look into the situation.  We just got notified and made aware of the problem, but will get back to the customer with a response once we have a chance to find out more about the details.Sincerely,Progressive Chevrolet Owner

this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. This complaint was settled, and I tried to add to my answer and would like you to add that the General Manager of Fixed Operations at Progressive Chevrolet had contacted me and was courteous and understanding of our opinion of what had happened. He went above and beyond by agreeing to the settlement of reimbursing for half the cost of this repair, which is what I had proposed as a fair settlement. I would like to go on record as saying that this problem was first presented to a customer service representative of GM who refused to take any responsibility for their failed part.

It did include exorbitant $1000 charge for paint and fabric protection which is generally regarded as an unnecessary upcharge by a dealer. Price also included a $299 windshield repair agreement which is again generally regarded as unnecessary in that auto insurance usually pays for this repair without a deductible charge. Warranty was only for 90 days or 3000 miles from date of purchase and only covered 50% of labor and parts for covered systems. Still way over priced for [redacted] vehicle that has been driven less than 300 miles by 87 year old elderly, mildly cognitively impaired man who is now residing in senior living facility due  to inability to safely and adequately care for himself.

The Progressive Auto Group websites are updated with information four times a day.  Over the last several years, it has been a focus to find the website companies and tools who provide the most accurate information available to the public from Progressive Auto Group's accounting...

systems.  Even with state of the art websites and supporting tools, there are instances where information from the accounting systems doesn't signal a website system fast enough for some of our clients.  Progressive Auto Group sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience that this lag time may have caused.   In an attempt to address this, there is notification on the sites which lists vehicles that are sold and it does clearly state on the vehicle listing in at two separate areas within the vehicle display page the word sold.  We appreciate your feedback.
