I'm a new resident of [redacted]. Upon finding an apartment to live in, I needed to furnish it with bedding and living room furniture. In doing so, I visited [redacted] located at [redacted]. Even though they had skeptical service inside the store and during the delivery process, I made a decision to keep the furniture. Upon retrieving a credit account for the furniture, they disclosed that they worked with Progressive Lease Payments as their credit source. I was approved and agreed to make monthly payments. I was assured by the representative at [redacted] that I could set the payment amount I could afford to pay monthly with Progressive Lease Payments and they'd have no problem working with me on what that would be. I called Progressive, set my monthly withdrawal at $250 per month and they agreed. For the first the first 4 months the $250 draft was automatically debited from my personal checking account, which means I had no late payments. During the end of May I contacted Progressive to have my draft day changed from the end of the month to the middle of each month. I received email confirmation that the change was approved. When I checked my bank account on June *, 2015 I noticed that a draft for $375.03 was debited as well as an over draft fee of $35 because it caused my account to be negative. That negative balance ate up reimbursements from my employer and caused me to have no funds for over a week. It's been a week where I was promised that they'd return the funds and over draft fee to my account which has not happened. Progressive representative [redacted] called me daily to let me know "your money will be in your account tomorrow, I promise!" That happened twice. Still no funds. It even went to the level of his supervisor [redacted], who I could never speak to, only receive relayed messages through [redacted], that she was expediting the refund to my account and I'd have access to the funds by Friday, June *, 2015. Well today is June *, 2015 and I have not received anything but headaches and the run around from Progressive Lease Payments. I have not received professional service from what seems to be a legit service. They have no problem performing debits to my account in a timely fashion but there seems to be a problem with crediting my account in a timely fashion. This company should definitely be investigated as the service they've provided has been negligent and seems illegal.
