Per your calendar note, you stated that the work began in April and was completed May 8th, 2017.    We...

agreed the work was to start Friday, 5/6/ 2016.  I can refute via dated picture documentation, and text messages, that the work was in no way completed nor had any resemblance of being completed on May 8, 2017.   I will present full photos of my lawn in June, 2017 showing the destruction of my lawn and patio, exposed trenches, exposed piping all around the lawn and other debris left.

[redacted] let me remind you of how we fulfilled our role as customers.  We thoroughly explained our need to you, we walked the grounds with you, and we pointed out the areas of concerns. You in turn, said you had the skills, you said you had the crew, you said you had the knowledge to complete the job to our satisfaction and within a timely manner ( not over a year of waiting).  You further stated you always put everything back as though it had not been disturbed.  We accepted your bid and your word in Good Faith.  We paid for work that was not complete and a promise that was not held.  As with most customers, and we are not any different, we were looking to get a complete satisfactory job.. we have no interest or concern that you posted a note on your calendar or scheduled a crew to come out. It’s a moot point, it doesn’t mean anything to us if they don't show up.  As you well know your crew didn’t show up for days, and time after time after time, and call after call after call to you go unanswered that was concerning.  My text messages to you reiterated the concern. When we did hear from you all we got from you were excuses.  An excuse that you had to have your crew complete a job someplace else; an excuse that you were robbed and got into a fight; an excuse that you were thrown in jail; an excuse that you had broken ribs; an excuse that your main employee quit; an excuse that you had the flu; an excuse you hurt your back; ; an excuse that you have to go to [redacted] to pick up your concrete guy; an excuse you are having banking problems; an excuse someone gave you bad checks.  All we got were excuses! You did not do anything for us that was not warranted or owed.   if you miscalculated the cost and/or parts needed to do the job that would be your poor judgment.  However you would think anyone with 20 years of experience in this type speciality work would know what was precisely needed and to how cost out the job.   We will not accept the blame for your lack of projection.   We will accept an agreement to mediate and or settle this concern.
Regards,
