Bar rules are posted on a sign outside the establishment. The first rule is "No flat bill hats with stickers". ***. This is confusing because I was there on a hip-hop night and the crowd was very diverse. I don't know how old this rule is or when it was put in place but I do know the intent. I asked the security guard at the door, that was wearing a hat backward by the way, what the purpose of the rule was. He had no idea and replied "it's just something the owners want." If the rule was that no hats are allowed that would make sense because you are obviously trying to implement a dress code that's not so casual, but the specificity of this particular rule can only be interpreted one way. It's a shame because they have great drink specials and otherwise seem to be a good establishment.
