I am rejecting this response because:
When I originally requested a quote for the “magnets” from Project Te in November I specified “car magnets.” This request was made verbally when I came to pipreviously ordered t-shirts the week of November 7thHowever, when I received the quote it stated “magnets” and did not specify indoor versus outdoor There is no way that I would have known that they were not outdoor rated by the description on the quote When I contacted Project Te on March 20th it was to tell them that the quality of the car magnets ordered waspoor as the design had peeled off with one exposure to the rain At no time did I state that I “meant to order outdoor magnets” as is quoted in their response I state that they were not outdoor magnets as I had ordered This was not a mistake made by me and my organization as is alleged As I stated in my original complaint, On February 15th at 12:pm I received an email that said “Got it...will send proof later.” I never received that proof No matter if this had been a duplicate proof or not, it was stated that it would be sent and was not Again I will reiterate that there has never been any indication of the type of magnet being produced on any of the businesses quotes They only say “magnets” and there is no way I would have known that the type of magnet I was agreeing to order was not outdoor rated Of course I would have understood that outdoor rated magnets would cost more and would have talked to my executive board about a higher cost if I had known the ones received were not outdoor magnets Again, at no time did any of the quotes specify indoor versus outdoor magnets My husband did contact the business because I was unable to do so He first attempted to go there in person, but when the owner was not in, he talked to him via telephone My husband was calm and professional until the owner became incensed at the idea that he may have been at fault When the owner became belligerent my husband ended the conversation and hung up The owner then called him right back and threatened to sue him When my husband hung up again, he continued to contact him via text My husband then called back one more time to say that any further unsolicited contact would result in a harassment charge I will end by saying that this business should understand by the fact we are a PTA and have tax exempt status that we aren’t flush with cash to reprint anything, no matter the discount Our organization exists purely to help support the children and teachers of *** *** school Any further money that we need to spend to re-print something would take needed funds away from the children of this school Even now, we are unable to sell these magnets because it’s highly unlikely anyone will pay, even what we paid, for an indoor magnet So our kids are the ones that will suffer I am requesting that our organization be compensated in some way

Dear Representative at Revdex.com Dispute Resolution Department,Our customer, [redacted], has ordered from us twice before without a problem. She knows we care about our customers, going beyond what is expected for many of them. She requested a quote from us for magnets on November 18, 2016. She did not...

move forward with these until an email on February 12, 2017. At neither point did she mention that these were for outdoor use. Therefore, the quotes we sent to her did not state that these were anything but standard magnets, including four various size options from which she had to choose. Outdoor magnets are made in a different fashion to withstand the elements, and do cost more. She sent us the desired artwork, which also did not state that these were for use outdoors. We sent her a proof on February 15th, 2017, 1:05 PM. She wanted the text adjusted slightly with respect to size and font. We did not need to send her another proof, as it would have merely been a duplicate file. When [redacted] contacted us that she had meant to order outdoor magnets after the fact, we tried to offer her a discount on a new order. We know how difficult it can be for customers to deal with making a mistake, and wanted to help her out as much as possible. This is where things took a turn for the worse. She had her husband contact us, and he became very rude and threatening. He tried to give us lessons on how to run a business, then said he was going to tell all the schools that our business was bad, as well as badmouth us on social media. We are truly mortified that, after even trying to offer discounted merchandise to help Katie fix her mistake, she would send someone to unjustifiably threaten us. At this point, we did inform her husband that we would absolutely protect ourselves, and would sue for slander, should the need arise. If the mistake were ours, we would not have hesitated to replace the at our cost. project Te has been in business for over twenty years, and we are not in the habit of treating our customers so shabbily. She had ample opportunities to request a change to her quote, but did not. We provided exactly what was ordered and in a timely manner.Project Te2209 E. University Ave.Urbana, IL [email protected]
