I am sorry that *** had a problem with his vehicleWe at Prompto do care about our customers, we have for more than YearsI also advised *** that drain plug heads do wear over time, its wear and tearIf Prompto makes an obvious mistake, we have insurance to handle such mistakes, in this case it is not obviousWe do use the correct tools when performing the oil changes, including Torque wrenches when tightening all drain plugs I am not the owner, nor did I say I was the ownerI stated that I report directly to the owner, and that the Owner does not get involved with customer serviceOnce again, I am sorry that *** had an Issue with his oil pan, but it is in the opinion of Prompto that the crack was not caused by our company.Thank You

I spoke with the assistant manager *** and was assured both times the manager would call. I will take the certificates for another location and I will be sure that the "complimentary services" are given. I will not go back to the location I used, but I do hope that the Manager is aware of this matter, it could have been resolved if he had called me as promised from the assistant.thank you, *** *** ?

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #***I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved. *** *** contacted me twice He was very pleasant on the telephone He said he would work with me if his investigation showed that they were the cause of my problem The original receipt indicates that they installed a inch wiper blade on my car, which is the correct size I told him the way it transpired was that the manager directed a new employee to get me a wiper blade, the new employee had to ask where they were located, grabbed one and put it on while the manager wrote up the receipt in the office, including a inch wiper blade I have no idea whether the new employee put on a incher or a longer one My very experienced mechanic said the wiper blade they installed was too long *** *** said he would have to see that blade to prove this It was discarded a long time ago, so I have no evidence to back up my claim, which leaves me with no recourse
Regards, *** ***

sorry the customer feels this way, but the customer is incorrectall cars are drained thoroughly when oil changes are performed.Prompto is not responsible for any reimbursement at this time. The reason why the cops were called is because the customer made a scene in the store in front of other
customers, and was using vulgarities

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted].
When Mr. [redacted] sent me to the [redacted] dealership with the question about 20 lb/ ft cracking the oil pan, he knew the was an “impossible task” for me. Of course it wouldn’t crack it. My question is of them using a torque wrench period. With the rounded edges and tool marks on the oil pan plug is telling me (and the Service Manager at the dealership) a different story.I asked Mr. [redacted] for his bosses name, phone #, and email address. He wouldn’t give them to me. His exact words were “he is the owner and does not talk to customers”. If I was the owner, I would want to know what’s going on in my company. I don’t know if this was the correct root to take against Prompto, but I did learn something about them. Prompto does not care about their “Satisfied Customers”, they just care about the “amount” of customers they have…..and Mr. [redacted] can’t deny that…
Regards,
[redacted]

The customer has been advised as to what our company's course of action is on 03/06/2017. I met with the customer on 02/22/2017 and inspected the ball joints that had been replaced. I advise the customer that I needed to talk to my supervisor about coverage on such repair. Unfortunately having been...

busy and getting to talk with my supervisor, I was not able to get in touch sooner.

I certainly sorry to hear about [redacted] problem with the wiper transmission. However I am the Field Manager for the company and was not aware of this issue. I have not received a complaint  from the store regarding the issue. I would need to see the receipt from the oil change first and...

ensure that the correct wiper blade was installed on said vehicle.I would be more than happy to look into this and give the customer a decision as to which way the company would proceed provided we in fact did something wrong.the customer may contact me at my office;[redacted]

I am not aware of these situations, and certainly apologize. I hope that it would not be the case, after you asked to have things checked. However I unfortunately cannot reimburse for your oil changes, as to what you paid for is essentially the oil change, those other checks are complentary. I can...

send you a couple of gift certificates toward future oil changes. to be used at a different location if you desire. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I spoke to [redacted], and Explained that we use torque wrenches when tightening drain plugs in all oil pans. Our torque setting is 20 ft.Lbs. Which is not sufficient to crack an oil pan, and that aluminum oil pans can crack due to metal fatigue, casting flaws, etc...I explained to [redacted] that if he was...

to get something in writing from the [redacted] dealer stating that torquing a drain plug to 20 Ft. Lbs would crack an oil pan I would gladly pay half of the repair, which at the time that is what [redacted] was looking for. The dealer told [redacted] that torquing an oil pan to 20 Ft. Lbs, would not crack an oil pan and that [redacted]'s spec was 29 Ft. Lbs. So in closing where Prompto 10 Minute oil change torques all oil pans to 20 Ft. Lbs. With a calibrated Torque wrench, It impossible that Prompto was the cause of the crack. Thank You
