Review: I purchased 2 tickets for their New Years Eve cruise on [redacted] july 2012 via their website. We travelled from the UK to spend new year in New York and were really looking forward to our cruise night. We spent $445.80 on 2 tickets for the Admirals Cabin, which was due to include food, unlimited bar and fireworks. We turned up for the boat at 7.15 (to depart at 8pm) to be told the boat was delayed but would be here in the hour. We (along with hundreds of others) were sent across the road to a Lucky Strike bar where we were told there would be a open bar waitning for us. The open bar did not exisit and boat did not arrive within the hour. At about 10.30pm we all went over to the pier to see what was going on, and there was no representives from the company to be found, so there was 1000+ people waiting in the freezing cold for a boat to turn up. My partner and I were so upset, we decided to leave the pier around 10.45pm. I was so disspointed I through away the boarding card we collected from the Box Office the day before. To make matters worse, my partner planned to propose to me at midnight on the boat (whole reason of going to new york, and especially at that time of year). Or night was compeltely ruined. The next day I called the Oncruise company to get a refund and was offered 10% which I refused. Over the rest of our time in NY I kept calling up and our last day was offered a 100% refund. As I was at the airport, the lady on the phone told me to send her across a scanned copy of the document we got when we picked up the tickets from the Box Office to actually prove we got them. When I landed, as promised she sent me an email detailing that I would be offered 100% refund once I scanned the document over. I sent this off and was still wiating for a refund 2 weeks later. Whilst back in the UK I called to find out what was going on but kept being hung up on the minute I said I was calling about the Cornucopia Majesty cruise. Eventually I was transfered to someone claiming to be the VP of Sales. He said he can't give me 100% refund because I didn't have my boarding pass (even though I have this agreement in writing) but could issue me a 50% refund. Reluctantly I accepted as wanted an end to this. Again, I waited for the refund but none came. Since I have called up several time, but again keep being hun up on. One person said they could issue me a credit note valid for a year (not much use if in the UK) which I declined. I'm not getting anywhere with this and we really need someone to help us out and get some money back. Being based in the UK it has ben hard to find someone or a company to back us to get the money back. The company compeltely ruined our holiday and also a night that was supposed to be remembered for the rest of our lives. Unfortuantely we do remember that night, but not for the right reasons. I still have email proof of being offered 100% refund plus others.Desired Settlement: I want compensation for the upset and misery they caused us on what was due to be a great night. At the very least. I want a full refund

Sincerely,

Review: This company was involved in ticket sales for prom after parties which were being held at the club [redacted]he New York city. I purchased one ticket for $45.00, $50.00 after taxes for an event that was supposed to take place on June [redacted] 2014 (the day of my prom) . Three days before the event was supposed to take place I found out that it was cancelled, I was not notified about this issue from the company, my friends who purchased tickets from other websites received an email notifying them of this. The reason for the cancellation of the event was because there was not enough people in attendance to have the party. I continuously called the company trying to get my money back but they kept telling me they will get back to me but they never did.Desired Settlement: $50.00

Review: We had booked a [redacted] of July cruise for 12 people. On May **, 2014 I received an e-mail notification from [redacted] that our ship had been canceled. I requested a full refund at that time. She offered me other alternatives, and I continued to say that the alternatives were not acceptable to us and they we wanted the full refund. On June [redacted] told me she had submitted by request for a refund. I kept checking back via e-mail and phone calls with no response. On June **, she finally sent an e-mail that said that the refund had been processed and to allow 5-7 business days. I still had not received a refund by July *. I made over 100 phone calls to ###-###-####, which kept getting a busy signal, and when I finally got through I was told that the apporved refund had not been processed because they had only the last four digits of my credit card number on file, and there was no explanation as to why no one called me for that information. I gave [redacted] my full credit card information and once again was promised that the refund would be processed. I expressed my frustration that I had to dial the number ###-###-#### over 100 times to get through, and [redacted] give me another number, ###-###-####,which she said is her direct line. This week I have called that number numerous times and it has always gone to voice mail; I have left numerous messages daily with no return call. I sent a message through [redacted] on 7/** with no response. I have called ###-###-#### approximately 200 times in two days, and cannot get through.

The original reservation was made through [redacted], the receipt for my payment shows [redacted], the e-mail and phone say [redacted]. Everything is tied to the ###-###-#### phone number.Desired Settlement: I want the full refund as promised, in the amount of $1,929.35.
