The job was estimated to run about $
The final bill came to plus $tax for a total of $
The *** wanted the work done immediately and they requested that we start the job
Mrs*** was informed that payment was due in full upon completion....that was
3/27/
By 4/15/we had left Mrs*** at least or messages none of which were returned
It was not until I left a message stating that Pronto would have to place a lien on the property, submit credit complaint, and file 'theft of services' charges if we did not hear back from them that Mrs*** returned the call
I reduced the bill by on the condition that she come in and pay that day ( a Friday) or leave the money in the drop box over the weekend
She agreed,.....but never followed thru
Twice the plumbers went her home to collect, twice they refusedMr*** demanded an itemized bill to include all time spent on the jobAt his request, total time spent was added up and his requested bill came to $
The itemized bill was hand delivered to Mr***, who, AGAIN did not pay the plumber
Finally on May 5th Mrs*** came in and paid the original bill of $
We have been more than accommodating to the *** and feel that considering all the extra time & effort put into collecting for services they requested, the *** were treated with all fairness and their complaint is just another
example of people not wanting to be accountable for services rendered
Pronto totally rejects their complaint

*** *** I did pay the $but I didn't go in I put it in the drop boxThey never saw me the first time it was with my husband and they give him the price not meI ask the very First day that they called to let me know the amount and when I asked why it was that she first said it was parts and when I told her there were no parts used she changed the answerAt the end the answer was that the bill was what it was and that was itI was not saying that I was not going to pay I just wanted to know why it was that much and no I didn't think it was right because they didn't want to give me a straight answer on why or give me a bill with what was done like any other businessI have paid I just don't think they should say that I did it because I did not want to pay.[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the responseIf the consumer does not provide a reason if he complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]
