Review: Proof did a cement driveway and cemented the front walk and back yard. All of the cement crumbled within 3 months of installation. [redacted], the [redacted], came and looked and said he got bad cement. He would be here first week in May to replace it. He never showed up, doesn't answer phone calls, return voice mails or texts. This was a $25,000 job that needs to be redone.Desired Settlement: Proof needs to stand by their work and replace all areas that are defective.

Review: On July *, 2015 we signed a contract with Proof Contracting Inc. to perform a list of home improvements to the property we own located in [redacted] at the agreed cost of $8500. Those improvements included but were not limited to removing and replacing the cement stairs and porch in front of the home. Details of work outlined in attached contract.

Work was scheduled to begin on August **, 2015 and we paid a deposit of $2000. Proof Contracting Inc. did not show up on this agreed date and have since been avoiding our calls.

Since we signed the contract, we have attempted to contact Mr. A[redacted] via phone and text, even visiting him at his current job site. Each time, he assured us he will begin work on "Monday". Every Monday deadline has been missed. We’ve asked friends to call on our behalf, and he lied to them as well. This has gone on too long.Desired Settlement: Demand is hereby made the deposit of $2000 be returned immediately. Unless this matter is resolved to my satisfaction, I will begin legal proceedings without further notice. The cost of these proceedings will be added to my claim.

Review: Proof contracting gave us false information on the requirements that was needed to work on the project for my house; that a permit was not needed for the replacement of the outer layer of bricks of the house. We even had them sign a contract to confirm that what they told us was the truth and that the permit was not needed. When we received a stop work order for the house, the contractor disappeared; ignoring and not returning our phone calls. I managed to get in contact with the contractor at one point and he promised that he will resolve the issue of the stop work order. The issue was never resolved; we never heard from him again. He left our house partially completed. We had no choice but to hire someone else to clean up the physical mess that was left on the house. Proof contracting's work ethics is very unprofessional.Desired Settlement: We would like Proof contracting to either refund some of our money for the unfinished job. Or halt their business until they can professionally and effectively handle issues that may arise during projects.

Review: I hired this contractor to do some cement work and electric work. he took an electrician to do the electric work. He made me pay him 3/4 of the contract price. after doing 1/4 of the work he ran off. not answering phone calls , not showing up. the electrician tells me he wasn't paid yet at all so he cannot finish the job. electric wires are left open and loose - its dangerous to my children! I want a full refund from him as now I have to immediately find someone else to fix up the electric work! he ran off with my money and did not pay the electrician either!Desired Settlement: I want a refund. and for him to pay the electrician immediately

Review: We had our roof done in august of 2012 by Proof General Contracting, INC. After two month the roof began to leak around skylight, we called the firm and complained, in response they sent two people to solve the problem. Again after two month the roof itself began to leak in the vicinity of the bedroom, along with the skylight. When we tried to reach the contractor, they didn't return calls, and completely ignored the issue. We reached out to the different contractor, who pointed out the blatant mistakes done by the Proof G.C. Some of the issues were lack of flashing (waterproofing) around skylight, chimney or ventilation pipe. Also the roof is missing the drip edge, which lead to the deformation of the wood structure of the roof. The shingles were also installed in the wrong pattern which lead to the roof leakages. The new contractor recommended removing the shingles and starting the job from scratch.
