I switched to Proof this year as the reviews I read gave the impression they would handle general pest issues and it would be out of sight out of mind.

This place is expensive so I would assume their services would be top notch.

MULTIPLE visits and my spider problem is worse than ever. I called to cancel service and they refused to refund any money I paid because of the "discount" I received when I first signed up. Obviously this is a BS thing they do so they are not on the hook for refunding anyone for poor service.

Please investigate this "discount" loophole so that others aren't swindled.

I have used Proof a two houses that I have owned and they have been fantastic! Once was for bees that made their way into the house, the second time was for ants and spiders at the new place. In both dealings with them they went way above and beyond to deal with my concerns and issues. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a pest control. Keep up the great work!

We had carpenter ants, wood bees and lots of spiders a few years ago so signed up with Proof when they did a door to door in our neighborhood. The tech that came out the first 2 times was very nice and took the time to spray way up in the second story to kill the bees. By the end of the summer, we were pleased enough with the service. Then they started showing up without notice, so I was not home to let them in to spray the basement and to remind them to spray the bees. During the Feb 2018 spray we know they did a thorough job because we saw the footprints all around the home going up and down the porches and moving items. The next spray, again no warning, I noticed that nothing had been moved away from the walls like previously and we had a ton of bugs after. When I called they said they would send a tech for re-app. Not sure it happened, so I guess not since the bugs stayed. During the late summer 2018 application, again no call, and nothing moved. On top of it, I noticed that we had a giant spiderweb across the stair rails onto the deck and the tech had supposedly been there just hours before I got home so they clearly didn't even go on our deck. We had tons of spiders, the bees are back in full force along with every other bug possible. Again, I called and no re-app ever happened. So I cancelled the credit card it was on and sent an email that I wanted my service stopped for the above reasons. No reply and I forgot about it because I was going through a health issue. In Dec 2018, I got a notice that my 4th application had been done. Now I was home recovering and NO ONE set foot on my property. I figured whatever since they can't bill me. Fast forward through my husband having open heart surgery and one day I answer a call from Proof looking to collect for that service and I explained the situation and was told someone would look into it. A few more months go by and today Sep 2019, I get a collection notice in the mail for the money.

Consumer Provided Revdex.com with update 9/10/2019 - I left a previous negative review and was contacted by the company and my issue was resolved very quickly. They stated that more training would be done to inform customers about the contract they are signing.

He called me and apologized for the way I was treated over the phone about the cancellation fee that I was not aware of. He agreed to reimburse me the additional money I was charged. He explained the operation of this family business and could not have been any nicer. I was so impressed that I will in the future hire Proof Pest Control.

I cancelled my account on 4/26/2018 because treatments would continue at $129 a treatment until cancelled. The company has an advertised "guarentee" of the work provided, so I believed I would still be covered in any ancillary issues that may arise close in proximity to my last treatment. Today, 6/9/2018, my kitchen is ingested with ants. I called the company and a representative stated that the guarantee only applies to current customers and applies "between treatments" so because I cancelled my account, nothing can be done. I advises him that there are no terms and conditions or policies readily available that state that and that it is misleading to advertise a guarantee without further explanation if it doesn't guarantee a treatment applied for a full year, and as frequent as a month and a half ago. He rudely said he doesn't handle customer service and hung up.

Jon Kohlenberg came to my home today. I’ve been finding bees inside my home and because I’m highly allergic, I was really concerned. Jon was very professional. He listen to all my concerns, asked all the right questions, and answered all my questions so I could understand. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. I welcome working with him in the future and will recommend Proof and Jon to friends and family. Thank you Jon and Proof for everything.
