Proper Plumbing Services

I previously used Proper Plumbing years ago for a gas leak. Mr. S actually did the repair and no issues. I kept his card on my fridge. I called Proper Plumbing because of toilet back up on main floor powder room on March 2, 2018 at 0600 in the am. A young man came and snake the main line to free blockage in drain 120ft on March 2, 2018 around 1000 and we paid in the sum of $475. However, when asked what caused the blockage, the young man didn't find anything. Insurance did estimates and cleaned up the waste spill. Less than a week later the same thing occurred on March 8, 2018. I called the insurance and they had to open a new claim, even though it was the same problem, because the areas were already sanitize and cleaned. On the same day, 8 March 2018, I called Proper Plumbing and told them the problem they sent two young men came and this time they snake from the basement to the street. They arrived around 430pm. When they opened the pipe it caused poop, waste to spill into the basement. Therefore, I had to get the service company to sanitize and clean the waste. They did the clean up the next morning around 0900. The cost for the clean up the second time around wasn't covered by my insurance because it is under my deductible. I called Mr. S the owner and explained what happened. He said that I didn't charge you. I told him the original problem wasn't fixed because the backlog occurred in less than a week. Mr. S was rude and indignant. He said that I have been a master plumber for 30 year and he didn't know what me and my husband put in the toilet and it was my problem. He was very argumentative. I told him then I would file a lawsuit for payment and I hung up the phone. He may have 30 years of experience but it was two young men who did the job. They were very respectful but the owner was down right nasty. My out of pocket expenses for the 2nd clean up is $543.33 and needs to be paid for by Proper Plumbing as they didn't do the original job correct
