I had to hire a realestate agent, since I was left with no support from Property Guys. Infuriating!
I signed on with Property Guys in July 2019. Dustin *** stated he'd be dropping by periodically, to assist with the marketing of my house. He stated I would be getting printed brochures, and a lot of signs would be placed throughout the community to advertise the location of my house. Dustin also promised to promote my property listing through social media on a regular basis. Dustin never came by my house once. The first time he listed my property, he didn't set it up correctly on the website. It was me that found the error and asked it to be corrected. Dustin did not do any further advertising on social media. The brochure is ***, there is only one page devoted to my house. Most of the remaining 12 pages promote Property Guys. One of my neighbours got upset because Dustin put a sign about my house on their property without asking their permission. In the new year I lowered the price on my house, and Dustin once again assured me he'd be finally taking a more proactive approach in marketing it on social media. All he did was change the price on the Property Guys website. When I signed on with Property Guys, two other houses on my street were listed with reputable real estate companies. Both these houses have since sold. In that same time period only two individuals showed an interest in my house. But neither individual made an offer. Which is frustrating because Dustin repeatedly assured me that the Property Guys website gets a lot of exposure locally and nationally. I contacted the Property Guys head office on two occasions, and asked for a refund. Both times they didn't even acknowledge my request. I think it is *** to charge *** $1400.00 and to have no results after eight months.
Refund I would like a refund, as they didn't not live up to their promises.
You have paid us for advertising on our website realtor.ca and kijiji as well as all the signs I provided and the magazines.
I'm sorry your house didn't sell as we never had an appraisal done which makes it very hard to know the market time it would take and the proper price.
*** We sell lots of houses through many real estate companies.
You paid half the price and had a self service package and live out of town in sorry we couldn't get to visit more but made many phone calls and tried to help

Dustin never came to our house once in 8 months. He promised to put our house on social media repeatedly until it sold, he never did this. He misrepresented the brochure, he said it would be all about house, it wasn't. It was mainly about the promotion of Property Guys. Bottom line they did not advertise it as promised. Two other houses on our street sold in the same time, if Property Guys was doing as promised we would have had more than two people showing an interest. If they had any *** at all they would give us a refund. As they didn't live up to their promises.
