I have spoken to Mr*** on several occasions and explained to him that we have his check for $and that it was for an inspection The owner met with Mr*** on 3/31/and told him that he would send
someone out the next day to inspection the damages to his property for insurance reasons and the cost would be $ This was a one time fee and did not guarantee future repairs to the property The inspection was completed and the invoice marked paidCopy attached

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2016/01/15) */
We do not work on the weekends The homeowner contacted us on Monday and a tech was sent out on the same day We offered to install a new thermostat and he declined The thermostat was programmed and the heat was working when the tech left
The home is an hour drive from our office The homeowner called again the next day with heat not working The owner did not send a tech out because of the distance and because he was asking for a new thermostat that he had just declined the day before I received several harassing phone calls that day and chose to send the tech out again He replaced the igniter and the thermostat The heat was working and he left That night the homeowner texted the tech and said that it went out again I never received a call at the office about this issue The homeowner decided to call another company rather than giving us the option of coming out again
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2016/01/18) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
We were never offered a new thermostat until I told Alert that it was clicking We did contact the tech because that is what he advised us to do Plus the previous day I was told that "no tech would be sent to our house again" We were without heat for over days The tech advised us to have the gas company come out and check the pressure which we did They asked if they could look at the heat system and they opened it up and it flashed a code and the tech from the gas company read the code and pulled a line that had water in it Said the tech from Alert should have done that first which they never even offered to look at It is now working like a charm but no thanks to Alert ConstructionWhen the bill is received from the gas company I do expect Alert Construction to pay the bill since they refused to send out a tech again per their tech
Final Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2016/02/11) */

First of all, Stoneville is minutes from our address to Alert Construction not 1.5+ Secondly we contacted Alert in Sept and was advised by them that they installed a heating & cooling system at our address for Fannie Mae I have since contacted Fannie Mae and have been informed that indeed they had contracted Alert Construction for a heating & cooling system for Laurel Bluff Stoneville It is true we were not charged, however, this should have been under warranty per Alert Construction when we first contacted them It could have simply been fixed had the tech just taken the front off the system and read the code that the system gave We had to pay a service to come out to do this which cost us This should have been handled under warranty workAnd if you only installed the cooling system then why were we told by Alert that they installed both heat & cooling and they gave us all information on the systems in September when there was no problemI think we can plainly see things from their first statement of 1.5+ time when in reality google it and it is miles & minutes away

Thank you for your email. Regarding this complaint, the client cannot be issued a refund because he did not personally submit any payment. The $is a credit from the sale of a property. We quoted the seller $for the installation of a dishwasher. Instead of contracting
the installation directly, the seller credited the buyer- Mr*** and Alert $towards the installation. Instead of moving forward with the dishwasher installation, Mr *** contacted us and requested that the funds be applied differently. We complied, and sent an estimator out to his property to quote two other repairs he had been considering. In the rush of the holidays, we thought we had sent Mr *** the resulting estimateApparantly, the estimate was filed but not sent. Had Mr*** contacted us requesting the estimate we could have sent it to him at any time. However, instead of contacting us, he chose to contact the Revdex.com. We have attached the estimate, and Mr*** has been sent a copy as well. We would be happy to apply the credit to any of the repairsHe only has to call and schedule. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questionsWE are always happy to be of service. Thank you and happy new year.

There was a list drawn up before closing itemizing the repairs that were to be completed within days Both parties agreed to the list and signed it All repairs on the list were completed Mr*** called our office and reported that there
missing shingles on the roof and that the siding was coming off in one area He told Alert that he thought it was due to storm damage We advised him to call his homeowners insurance and place a claim That would not be covered under the warranty
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2016/05/02) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Unfortunately it is the siding on the house that start coming off and because of the weather it is now hanging off almost completely The shingles that are missing can be seen in previous pictures when the home was for sale, unfortunately the area of where the shingles are missing is small and we did not notice it until after we purchased the homeIf you go online and search my address up, you can see the pictures from when the house was on the market
