In response to your letter dated December 12, 2014, regarding the application of [redacted] , we will not be complying with the applicant's request to have her application fee returned It is unfortunate that she feels she was in some way taken advantage of as that is not the case [redacted] presented us with an application but failed to include her application fee We then had another applicant drop off an application, including the fee and a check for the deposit in case of approval [redacted] then dropped her fee off to us, at which time we had not yet made a decision Both applications being approvable but the other having presented deposit as well[redacted] did not follow the instructions on the first page f the application which instructs applicants that all applications should be accompanied by the appropriate processing feesHad she done so, we might possibly have processed her application and approved her before the other applicant came in.As to issues with communication, we have a policy where we return all calls daily whenever possible Perhaps she objected to leaving a voice mail - we do not manage to answer all calls personally when the office is busy I do know that we spoke with her on more than one occasion as we hoped to help her find another property.Sincerely, [redacted]

My experience with Paramount Builders, Inc has been excellentThe sales representative, *** Cooke, was on time, polite, informative, and patient with my questionsThe manager, John *** was wonderfulWhen a problem arose, he helped me through it without any hassle whatsoeverThe installation crew arrived on time and completed the work in a short amount of timeThey were polite and cleaned up the area thoroughlyThe whole experience was very pleasant and I highly recommend Paramount Builders, Inc

My family was sold by this company on the fact that they have Christian values, however, after day one, I found that these Christian values are for show onlyIt took this company just over months to install and fix my windowsThe initial installers put the windows in without any shems or replacing rotten wood, which was in the contractInstead they tried to wrap all the windows in hopes that when there are problems in the future the company could say they did their job and I signed off on it so it must have happened over timeWell, two windows began to sag and not close, which started a carousel of installers, who all seemed to only be employed with this company until something better came alongThe technicians knew what the problem was, but the company would not let them fix it the right way, but they had to keep trying to put band-aids on open wounds hoping that it would appease me The technicians would show up late or when they did show up they didn't have what they needed or just didn't know why they were thereMy wife was able to talk to the manager named Bob, who did nothing but talk down to her and make her feel like she was just a stupid woman and told her to have her husband call him insteadBob dropped the ball over and over and when I finally brought my concerns in Corporate, they seemed like they didn't even careThere was no empathy or sympathy nor was there any concernIt apparently was my fault for bothering themBob told these installers that I was rude, combative, and cussed out a number of the technicians, which is totally false, and every technician who came into my house had nothing but nice things to say about me and my familyI didn't even know Bob was saying this about me until two separate technicians on two separate trips revealed this information to meThis is a HORRIBLE company that does nothing but censors themselves from bad reviewsI left a review on their facebook page, which led to me being blocked and my post deleted

The workers from paramount builders did an outstanding jobI would recommend them to anyone

[redacted] Cooke was great. She took the time to explain and review everything. The pricing was great and service was amazing. Would recommend to anyone.

Anthony [redacted] was very pleasant and explained the entire project in detail. I feel like he is a friend and he is welcome in my home anytime! I love my new doors! Paramount Builders will most definitely earn future business!

In response to your letter dated December 12, 2014, regarding the application of [redacted], we will not be complying with the applicant's request to have her application fee returned.  It is unfortunate that she feels she was in some way taken advantage of as that is not the case....

[redacted] presented us with an application but failed to include her application fee.  We then had another applicant drop off an application, including the fee and a check for the deposit in case of approval.  [redacted] then dropped her fee off to us, at which time we had not yet made a decision.  Both applications being approvable but the other having presented  deposit as well.[redacted] did not follow the instructions on the first page f the application which instructs applicants that all applications should be accompanied by the appropriate processing fees. I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
In their letter they said I submitted an application and failed to summit the "application fee", which is a lie. I summited the fee at the same time I summited the application. Although I understand that I didn't get the property because I didn't summit the deposit on time and I understand that it is first come first serve, that's not what I am unsatisfied about. I am complaining about fact that they didn't check if someone else put a deposit on the properly to SAVE me paying my application fee. That is all I was talking about. Instead, they told me they'll get back to me in 24 hrs when they get the result of my application approval, which I was waiting patiently to pay my deposit and reserve my property… this is where their poor communication come it. So I gave them 24 hours they said it takes to process an application then I (not them) contacted the guy who showed me the property ([redacted]), which he answered back as if the property still available and and it's move in ready and when I asked him what's the next step, then there was no answer. So I called the office and that's how I knew it was given to someone else and that someone else had to have paid the deposit on the property at the same time, if not before I summited the application fee. I have the check to proof I submitted my application fee and the date, I just would like to know when they received the deposit by that someone else and if earlier, why did they communicated with me as if it is still available to the last minute??
Regards,
[redacted]

Review: They collected $40 for application processing fees to check my credit for a rental property knowing that someone else put a deposit on that property. I can't get a hold of the office and poor communication on the property manager and the office.Desired Settlement: To refund me the money
