Taking manual lessons with JC was a great choiceI did initially balk at the price, but after my first lesson, I knew that the price was fair He gave me some mechanical backgrounds on how the clutch and pedals works, which for me really helped with knowing why I'm doing each actionHe's easy to get along so you don't get stressed when learning how to operate the manual I initially wanted to take some lessons to learn the skill set, but I ended up buying a used manual car to driveThe lessons gave me a much wider range of options and I was able to find an excellent manual [redacted] for $less than the automatic equivalent

I had an excellent experience with [redacted] and ProShift in learning how to drive a manual transmission car I have been driving for over ten years, but prior to my lessons with [redacted] I only had experience with automatic transmission vehicles [redacted] was very patient and is a great teacher, and he quickly helped me gain the knowledge and confidence required to operate a manual transmission car [redacted] gave very good instruction on how a manual transmission works, so that I now have both a good theoretical knowledge of the how such a transmission works, as well as the practical skills necessary to properly operate a manual transmission vehicle [redacted] was very friendly, and his teaching style is both pleasant and very effective I would highly recommend [redacted] and ProShift to everyone interested in learning how to properly drive a manual transmission car

In my forties and having driven only automatics for almost years I was hesitant about learning to drive a stick shift JC's calm, professional approach made the learning process very enjoyable He gives just enough theory about the mechanics of a manual transmission to give a sense of how the engine and transmission function together This, along with a calm, progressive approach to the actual driving process allowed me to get into my own stick shift car feeling confident about what I was doing I would also recommend JC's book, 'Driving a Manual Shift Car' It has been a great resource for reinforcing the lessons

There is absolutely nothing but positives that I can say about both ProShift and JCJC took me from not being able to start a manual transmission vehicle, to driving with confidence in *** in three short lessons
Then again after not driving for a year, I went back to him for a refresher and again he taught with patience and respect, returning my confidence on manual vehicles
I would recommend his services to anyone

JC is professional and dedicated to manual transmission cars. He gave helpful tips not just on how to drive, but also on driving for the health of the clutch and the motor in a manual transmission car
