On the advice of the Revdex.com, I remained open to resolving this claim directly with the business.  They did indeed contact me, and their final offer was not to charge me for any completed work.  I was thrilled because I only asked for a price reduction.  However, their response states that I was trying to avoid payment.  This is completely untrue.  Again, I was willing to pay for a partial bill.  I’m considering this claim settled, because I don’t want to deal with any more confrontation or court threats.  Thank you for assistance.    Sincerely, [redacted]

This is Joe B[redacted] the owner of Pink Rose Home Service. I called this lady a few days ago to resolve this and she hasn't returned my voice mail. My understanding is she wanted a price reduction as well as a refund of our one year membership which she purchased and allowed her to receive a 15%...

discount on the price, as well as the use of over 100 in member only coupons toward this job, My understanding is we gave her a quote, she approved it without a deposit and we scheduled the job two weeks later. Then, after we performed the work, admirably, I should add, she felt we weren't there long enough and thought she paid too much. She expressed her a concern with our installer after the job was done and also called the office. The price for our jobs are task driven. In order to paint the roof fascia, the gutters need to be moved out of the way. Whether they were moved up or taken down and reattached has no bearing on the price because it is a fixed price for the task. (ie: painting fascia). Had the reverse happened (If we thought they could be flipped up, but it turned out that they needed to be taken down) the price would have remained the same and not gone up. This customer purchased a one year Pink Rose Bouquet Membership plan for $199 which gave her 15% off and $104 in exclusive "member only" coupons. We explained that the price was a fixed task driven price. But she wouldn't relent and wanted 100 off and a refund of her one year membership. We explained that cancelling the membership would raise the price 15% to the non-member price and she couldn't use the member only coupons either. When the customer continued to insist on a refund, we decided to refund and cancel her membership but kept the price of the job. So she received 199 plus tax and still saved 15% and $104 in member only coupons even though she did not pay for a membership. I would love to talk to her but she has not called me back. Since I posted an unsatisfactory review on this company's [redacted] page the owner of the business has since posted insulting comments about me and my character and has even posted publicly on his personal Facebook page to go his business page to post reviews and called me a nasty woman and suggested people post rebuttals to my review to discredit me. I have screen shots as proof to this. I have received harassing comments from these people which I also have screen shots of. All I wanted was a refund and an apology. Had the company been accommodating and respectful I would have removed my review and possibly continued recommending them. However after seeing how they treat customers with bad experiences, I am not satisfied with the lack of resolution offered by this company. Yes the payment was made by a friend of mine however she is disabled and I take responsibility in assisting her with issues. The work was to be completed on my property and that is why I am involved. The nature of of how this was handled by this company is completely unprofessional and I have the right to share my story with whomever I choose to share my experience with. The owner is the one who escalated this situation when he could have resolved this peacefully up front. Since when is a company entitled to retaliate on customers and bully them into removing reviews they don't like??
