They said they have competitive prices and wanted our business They asked for company address information They sent us QTYx 4' florescent tubes, unsolicited, not ordered With the lights was a note for us to "try" these bulbs to see what we think Then we got an invoice for nearly $from them Not only could we get these bulbs from our contacts for $2-$each ($total), but we never ordered them in the first place [redacted] I guess they figured that since we're a division of a large corp., we would just pay them [redacted] I would never deal with a company that tries pulling something like this even if they had a cheap price I will put a name as you require, but you will not be able to confirm with the company that we are a customer because we are not, and never will be based on this horrible experience
The review below was filed online back in Febof - the same thing happened here at our business while I was away on holidays this past two weeks [redacted] You will notice that although they have a very nice website they do not show an address on itTheir invoice shows The West Mall in Toronto M9C 1B- online it looks like an office strip mall Feb06, Prosource Canada will send you random shipments of highly overpriced parts (Ie electrical plugs, ballasts, wire) and say it was ordered by anyone at your location they were able to find a name of so that it looks like a legit order, but it won't beAll they did was find your maintenance or shipping members name and used that as a POThey will then invoice you hoping that since you recognize the name on the order that your purchaser or AP will just pay the invoiceThey will continue to do this indefinitelyOnce you catch on they are very difficult to deal with until you threaten to call the police on them, then they will be very accomodating in sending a courier to pick up all the junk they sent youDO NOT EVER ACCEPT ANY SHIPMENTS FROM PROSOURCEThey are a completely unethical company -
Wow, as per other negative comments...extremely overpriced products Phoned our company while Supervisor (myself) away and made it sound like we always buy bulbs from this company of which we never do and don't have an accountTalked our maintenance worker into a box of bulbs whom does not have authorityOur regular lighting contractor charges $per bulb but Prosource Canada Inc charged us $per bulb....extremely ridiculous....extremely unethical...I called company to complain and have had no response at this time I have had this company call previously and have always denied all offers and I asked specifically not to be bothered again but still call around Christmas time every year[redacted]
