Not having received response to date, contacted owner *** *** by phone. Mr *** says that when Mr *** contacted Prospect Auto Sales the second time indicating he was still having the same issue, Mr *** asked that Prospect Auto arrange / pay for a tow, to bring the vehicle back
in. He says he explained to Mr *** that he would not be able to send the tow truck immediately -- possibly the following dayMr *** says Mr *** found this unacceptable, declined the offer, and has not contacted the dealer since. Mr *** says Prospect Auto Sales is still willing to assist if it turns out an issue was diagnosed or repaired improperly, but Mr *** needs to contact the business to make necessary arrangements

*** *** brought her vehicle to us in for service, approximately around 02/22/Customer complained that her car was overheatingWe diagnosed and recommended that head gaskets needed to be replacedAt
which time, the vehicle had milesThe job was completed on 2/27/2014, and the customer was provided with a months or 12,miles parts and labor limited warranty, whichever comes first
On June 09, 2015, *** came back to the shop and said that the car was experiencing similar issue with overheatingAt which time the vehicle had 188,miles - clearly over the limited warrantyWe notified *** that the warranty was expired; furthermore, in order to diagnose precise issue, we had to disassemble the engine, and charge for labor, minimum six hours of laborMrs*** declined paying for further diagnosis, claiming that our service department should do it for free, and requested her money back for prior repair completed
We are truly sorry that this customer is experiencing difficulties with their vehicleUnfortunately, we are unable to refund any money back or provide any free services, as that vehicle was clearly over the warranty (miles and date)

It sounds very good from their point of view but the same problem became much sooner that they mentioned in their statementI called shop several times, and the answer was: "It is an old car"We do not drive this car so muchI already sent you a picture after the repair

I am rejecting this response because: Prospect auto never agreed to making the correction free of charge. I had asked that they pay for the towing and for the proper repairs. I was told that I would be responsible for all costs. That is unacceptable as the vehicle had broke down on my way home from there. It was their mistake for not properly diagnosing the problem, so it is up to them to fix their mistake. I only wish to hear from them if they are willing to reimburse me for the repairs that I had done at my own auto mechanic shop.
