I had a wonderful experience with tom at Prospect hill labradors. He's very knowledgable and is passionate about his dogs and pups and where their going as far as forever homes. I bought a fox red male abd he's healthy lean and gorgeous. I will definitely be getting another pup in future!

Purchased a lab puppy from this breeder and had no issues or problems. Owner was very attentive and although a busy working guy he returned my calls within a reasonable able amount of time. He truly cares for his animals and provides them with a great enviroment. He answered all our questions and sold us a very healthy and beautiful dog. He also provides boarding for her when we go on vacation. She runs the farm with her mom dad and siblings and doesnt want to come home. A+ breeder.

Review: On Thursday, October [redacted] 2014, I contact [redacted] with the intention of purchasing 1 Cream coloured Labrador Retriever puppy. Tom advised me to mail him a deposit of $300.00 to secure the pup.Upon receipt of the deposit on Sunday, October [redacted], 2014, [redacted] sent me a contract, which had not been previously discussed. Provisions included notifying of any change of address for the lifetime of the animal, a requirement to purchase food from him and that I must give him first right of refusal of the puppy should I be found in a position to no longer care for the animal. I revised the contract, and sent back to him my provisions which I found more suitable. [redacted] called me the following morning saying he "Will not sell his dogs to anyone who lives in the city", a provision which had not previously been discussed. He then told me that "I will be returning your deposit", of which I have written confirmation of the same topic.To this day, I have not received the $300.00 deposit for the Labrador Puppy, and have not received any communication from [redacted] stating he has followed through with his promise after numerous attempts to contact him.An email chain, a copy of his contact, and a copy of my revisions can be made available if so requested.Desired Settlement: Return of the $300.00 deposit and proof that a check/wire transfer has been completed for my records.

Review: I purchased a puppy from Prospect Hill Labrador Retrievers, the puppy was a little aggressive with my 2 year old son. I expressed this to the owner of the company from who I purchased the puppy from. He allowed me to return the puppy. I followed up with him to see if he had found a new home for her and he said that he will find a home for her but she does have a temperament issue and she will have to stay with him for additional training. He eventually found her a home. Which I was hoping for. We then agreed that he would allow us to pick another puppy from a liter he was having in October and that we would get first pick since he already had our money from the first puppy. I called him on November [redacted] 2015 to inquire about the liter that was born late October. He proceeded to tell me that he only had two females left, when I asked him what happened to me having first pick he said I called him to late and that he already had people lined up. He then said that he no longer wants to give us a puppy because he did not feel comfortable with us having one of his dogs. When I asked him why, he refused to tell me why and said that he would send me a check for the full amount of $800.00 (which I have yet to receive) and that would be the end of it. Which I agreed to. I waited a full week before contacting him again, he has since refused to answer any calls e-mails or voice mails.Desired Settlement: I wish to have a certified check or money order or even cash immediately. I want to avoid small claims court but I will if I have to file a lawsuit against him regarding this matter.
